Hey SweetFunny,

Could you add a function onto SB that will allow us to pause or backup a Blog analyser campaign...

I have been having the issue of the BA running through a list of 600k urls only to get to the last 10% and cresh...losing everything yet wasting a day in the process of doing it...

Some sort of pause function would also be nice in case im in the middle of running the BA and I have finished half my list...but I have to restart for whatever reason....id like to be able to pick up where I left off on there...

and private ones for posting.

Hey jammo - good question, it used to be my M.O. to scrape with the freebies and post with the primos, but....with the rollout of the new proxy tester, I leech and download as many primo proxies as I can, test them for googability, then scrape with those. Then I run the same list of proxies through the tester with Ignore Goog checked, and use those for posting. It's so much faster going that router. I haven't used public proxies for posting in a long time, and don't piss around with public proxies at all any more with sbox. Too slow.

I use a free software tool which scans the URLs for Keywords. PM if you want it, I can't post links.

Why not just use the inbuilt KW scraper and/or the goog wonder wheel scraper? Used in tandem they can kill.

Dude is there any quick way to wrap "" tags around the keyword once there scraped in SB? Its taking me ages to go through the whole list to do this!

Yes make a text file with this:

"%KW%"

Then click the "M" merge button on the harvester and select the text file, all keywords in the keyword box will be wrapped in quotes.

Sorry - my post about proxies that are slow was meant to refer to the publicly available ones that can be harvested by ScrapeBox. Those are heavily used and beat to death. Not meant as a reference to the proxiecentral forum's proxies. Sorry for the confusion.

-> lots of different names
-> lots of different emails (inlude some college ones, and other less mainstream)
-> lots of different comments, with spinned versions
-> No obvious selfpromotion

But i have a question, do you guys use links in the comment itself, or just in the website field ? And if you use both, do you repeat the same link or mix something up?

I keep hearing good things about Scrapebox and I even purchased it--but it's been almost a week and I'm still waiting on activation.

Here's hoping it's just a customer service glitch and not an on-going problem.

The problem with the Scrapebox proxies IMHO is the way they are used.. I start 1st thing each day scraping proxies. I don't need thousands of proxies either. Just get around 100 good proxies.

Don't over load them with thousands of blogs to post on. If you have as and example 1,000 scraped blogs to post on, break them up into say 4 different segments of 250.

After they finish refresh the proxies with 100 more or top up the ones that are still working. These proxies do not have a long shelf life. Many people get themselves 500 proxies for example, and post to 1,000 or more blogs. When they get bad results they blame on Scrapebox

And remember to spin your text.

and are only there as a temp solution

Lots of names/keywords YES and NO (depends on how blatant and trigger happy the blog owner is)

Lots of emails AGAIN Yes or NO - Really depends on how you work them, you can use mic_os0ft, ad-be and all sorts, depends on how far your imagination can go

Lots of spinned comments - Hmmm I don't really use spin within SB but I use external software then use the comments without spin tags

No Self promotion? That's why you got SB wasn't it?

Scrape and be safe with the high PR blogs, do them manually and really do read the blog as the results are well worth it!

The lower PR, spammed to death, unmoderated blogs then you might as well put your links in the comments as the links are as much value as dead horse - Although they do carry some weight but they wont for long at all!
