I am going to buy ScrapeBox soon, and just have a question that came to mind: Can the program to set to auto-link while you're away from the computer? In other words, schedule links to go live while you're out?

Also, how much is it to buy a license for an additional computer?

ScrapeBox looks great! A couple questions...

Currently I use 6 or so elite private proxies that I rent from a proxy company. I use these proxies to keep all my clients accounts separate.

Is it advised to use these proxies in ScrapeBox? Or should I utilize bulk proxies?

How many proxies is needed to be effective with ScrapeBox?

Where is a good place to get bulk private proxies, at a good price?

Do the proxies burn out after awhile using ScrapeBox? If so, how often do I need new ones? (I plan on using it conservatively)

Is it advised to do automated queries on Google not using private proxies?

Is there a process that posts links automatically using ScrapeBox?

How many proxies are need to effectively use the automatic link posting functions?

I plan on primarily using ScrapeBox to scrape high pr links so that I can manually review them and post useful links that are pertinent to the topics within the links that ScrapeBox extracts.

Hmmm, did I miss anything -LOL

If anyone has any pointers or links to useful, related content please let me know.

I look forward to using the software.

Thanks BHW!!!

Another quick question. When I am doing the blog analyser I am getting alot of "Error Timeout"

Is that normal? Using 5 private proxies.

I wouldn't call that normal, though the Blog Analyser is still a Beta. Make sure you're running the most recent version of that addon. One particular blog platform that is a victim or culprit with the timeout errors?

Have you tweaked SB's settings, connections or threads in particular?

It would also be interesting to know if you get similar results from the Nofollow addon with the same list of harvested sites as you're running through the analyser.

I havent edited any setting in SB, and I believe its the newest version of the addon, right now it is doing it to WP blogs. I havent did anything with the others yet.

I will run the list through the NoFollow addon and see what it does.

EDIT: NoFollow addon seems to be working good with no timeout errors.

Yes very advised to use proxies. Not sure what you mean by the term "bulk proxies". IMHO 6 is inadequate, though it depends a lot on how you use the app. Your plan about high PR links and manual review/posting is good, but I'd still say more proxies will benefit you.

Proxies do burn out the more they are used, especially when it comes to a - scraping the SE's and b - commenting. The better your proxies, the faster and more effective your work will be. So, harvesting with public proxies is slow and less reliable for example.

There are some good sources for proxies here on bhw. Be careful with some of the other proxy providers as they have banned or limited SB usage. If you have doubts, ask the provider, they'll likely know lol.

For startup, read the official usage guide, watch the official youtube videos, then check out loopline's youtube videos. Then I recommend ScrapeBoxing yourself or a friend's sites so you can really see what it looks like from the site mod's point of view.

peace - gregs.

@xplicit - interesting. I'll do a bit more checking and see if I can think of something else. I know at least one other person who was having a hell of a time with the blog analyser, I need to look into my virtual archives to try to remember what we ended up figuring out.

Appreciate it, I searched the thread but didnt find anything on it

That could be because of a current issue we're having with some proxies from one server, all other servers and cblocks are fine. Please check my sales thread for more details.

@xplicit: The bloganalyzer does not use proxies, so they can be excluded as the issue.
How many connections did you set in the blog analyzer, and whats your bandwidth?

Hi am new here. I am planning to buy the SB. How much is the current version of SB? Where should i talk to so that i can purchase it? thanks guys.

Instead of using proxies can just reset my connection if im on a DSL connection?

Sweetfunny can you please add a option of randomizing and splitting the list together in the next update. Also a option of when selecting to test proxies and not ignoring google then only to ip test the ones that passed google, Thanks.

Can i pay with another payment option? Paypal is too much headache...

No, paypal is the only option. You can have a friend pay if you want, just contact scrapebox support to tell them to have it registered in your name if you do.

Sure, but any complaints will go straight to your isp rather then your proxy provider. I promise your isp will be less lenient then your proxy provider. Having your internet connection canceled isnt fun.

Plus many other benefits of proxies.

Hi Loopline... I am very very excited for buying SB but I'm little bit confused with some tricky stuff. I know that SB can check the harvested links for commenting ability. But is it really able to differentiate ******** and Nofollow from it. As the new addon has been created and implemented in it. Just wanted to make sure if its working properly as it should be??

i just to buy, by the proxys, dont work, can anybody explain to me who i get a real proxy list (free please)

thank you!!

sorry but me english its very bad...

@jacky2002r - the nofollow addon is a beta, it's helpful but really I still am of the opinion that a link is better than no link - and if you filter for high-profile targets e.g. high PR or high Alexa sites, so much the better

@blueyes20 - free proxies - you get what you pay for - you'll have lower success rate and lower speed getting the work done; but if you really want to try free proxies, seek your own sources for leeching proxies (hint - look in the Proxies forum here) and you can add those custom sources into the proxy harvester in SB
