Paid proxies or paid proxy service will benefit you immensely. Better speed, better anonymity, better experience overall.

Yes if used right it will increase traffic (hell, if used wrong it can still increase traffic, but not in the best of ways).

Aki$met is no laughing matter but can be dealt with if you do your due diligence. As far as using it for a client, do research, learn it, test it, and so forth before doing that (esp. if your client is WH - if they're BH they should know the drill, but still, some people are idiots).

Only thing is, I use a Macintosh, and it's apparently not compatible. Will there be a Mac version anytime soon, or a server-sided version of SB? Server-sided is actually what I would prefer, enabling me to log on from any computer.

I doubt if you're ever going to see a Mac version of this app or any other like it. The market share just isn't there. But I've read on here that it runs just fine under Parallels or whatever it is that is called something like that (sorry me no speakee apple).

It also runs fine on any win-based computer, including a VPS, dedicated server, or even just a piece of crap windows box you can buy for a couple hundred bucks. It's pretty lightweight in terms of resources.

It is *absolutely* well worth your time to learn and use, even if you have to break down and use a machine running the operating system of one evil empire instead of an operating system run by another evil empire.

It's easy like sunday morning. Just buy a licence, there is no install, so you just put the files in a folder, launch it, activate it, and go, just like on your pc.

The main advantages are speed, and you don't tie up your local workstation especially for example with slow poster mode. Just make sure your hoster is okay with what you're doing - some are, some aren't.

Anyone know of a reason since the new update my SB always freezes now? whenever i'm posting it'll always get through about 20k urls and than it's done for and just freezes. can't figure out for the life of me how come it just started doing this since the new update.

I've not had any problems with the latest version, you might want to reset your options to the defaults if it persists, then re-tweak if you want to see if you can get back to peak performance (or to see if you can get it to lock up tighter than a drum some more if you're into that lol).

If worse comes to worse, there's always the handy rollback to previous version option. If you want to.

I'm not sure how this works exactly. Please excuse me if I have teh stupid.

As for my Macintosh problem, Macs nowadays run Windows as they have Intel chips. I could run this on my Mini using XP (but didn't really want to go there).

I have used it on both a VPS and a dedicated server. Running both Windows Web 2008 and Windows server 2003. It works in all those invironments. Its no more difficult to use then on your home pc.

Advantages it brings is loaded. But in short it depends on the data center its in. So generally its faster in the way of connections and getting things done.


Dedicated is better if you can afford it and are going to be doing much with it. I run a home based server and a data center based dedicated server. Thinking of picking up a 3rd dedicated data center based server, but Im a heavy user.

When you do Remote desktop on a windows server/vps you get a desktop environment. Just like if you were sitting in front of the pc. So there is nothing different you have to do.
