Hi all,
I'd really appreciate any of you detectives' thoughts on this please:

• Used sb's backlink checker and check indexed (for 1 of my sites for new links I was adding)
• Did this 2/3 times a week apart
• Used scraped & tested p's (from sb)
• Switched the delay off (know I shouldn't:sad
• On the 2nd occasion I did this (which was last Sunday) the results kept coming back as retrying, then IP blocked. So I stopped.

Could this in anyway have harmed my google rankings - seems unlikely to me but it's the only pattern I can see.

After the 1st time I did this my sited dropped from page 1&2 of google.com for every one of my 10 keywords. A week later it popped back up again (but slightly higher up - which was Last Sunday).

When it did I used the same features again to see what was new and the day after....gone again!

It's still indexed and my ezine articles are all in their normal high ranking positions but the site has gone. Webmaster tools says everything has stayed the same (in search queries) for keyword rankings.

The only other thing I can think of is that I looked on google almost every day with all the keywords and have heard this can be detrimental. The site has been steady in it's rankings for the past 2-3 months and is only about 4 months old....
...or is this just the mysterious google dance:hmmmm2:

Going to harvest nearly all existing blogengine blogs tonight (2000 very general keywords). Just to try the blogengine fast poster!

First of all, the update is simply amazing. I honestly smiled when i saw it! Google we are coming faster than ever!

Next update one big favour! I have a problem with languages other than english. I suppose many are working on non english websites.Characters appear as ?? or as anything that does not make sense.

I do not want to spoil the update since its really really good and thanks for everything

How do you manage to find which links were auto-approved and which were just posted successfully?

After you post, immediately run the link checker.

Well, is the Link Checker an add-on? I can't find it. :X

Since BlogEngine, WP, And such are all added together, do you think we can harvest more than just one type of link? Like harvest BE, WP, and MT? Since the poster posts on all.

I was trying to download the latest version of scrapebox but when I click on the "Run Update" I am getting this error "Unable to run the update utility" what seems to be the problem with that? Sweetfunny help.. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCRAPEBOX

Not sure what version you have been using, or what system problems you have been using, but it has been able to do that for a VERY VERY long time. Anyway, glad that it is finally working for you.

Good for you for not just jumping in, harvesting all of one of the search engine's indexes, and then blasting the comment "{pimp|'sup|word to your mutha}" to the whole world.

As far as a full how-to guide, the reason you're not going to find that golden egg is that there are a number of people using SB in various, outside of the box sorts of ways. That and we don't want people just copying the exact method we are using and then in turn saturating it and killing its effectiveness.

*but* if you look around, there are lots of nuggets of information that can get you thinking creatively in interesting ways to use the app and its addons. For starters, look @:

the unofficial sbox user's guide - a compilation of the first 30-40 pages of this BST thread

loopline's youtube video channel about various aspects of Le Box

then you might want to search through bhw threads with scrapebox in the title - just blow through all the "ScrapeBox are teh sux" and "ScrapeBox ate my brain" threads, and focus on the various interesting techniques people have thought about; don't just use the exact method posted, but use their examples to kickstart your brain into looking at....well, as was put in the best. post. ever., which immediately became my sig, look at "What exactly is a scrapebox?" Think about what exactly it can do...what all the addon's, combined possibly with either other apps or scripts you have acquired or created, and all the interesting data available to you - look at what it can all add up to....

Then there are some training videos and guides for sale, I don't use them so I can't comment on their value, and in general I advise people not to buy ebooks or the like until they have really used the available free information and the power of their own brains first (no knock on the sbox specific stuff for sale, like I say, I don't use them, just general advice).

Figuring out how computers and software worked on my own - with a healthy dose of research and information sharing from the web - is how I learned practically everything I know about computers today. It's fun, it's lucrative, and IMHO it is the very essence of BH distilled into one sentence.
