Just use the link lock features.

xxx.com {keyword 1 | keyword2}
xxx1.com {keyword 1 | keyword2}
xxx2.com {keyword 1 | keyword2}
yyy.com {keyword 1 | keyword2}
yyy2.com {keyword 1 | keyword2}
yyy3.com {keyword 1 | keyword2}

It will lock those specific keywords to those specific urls. At which point the name file is not even used, however it still needs to be loaded to work and its a good idea to put something generic in there that is relevant to all your blogs or just a name. Cause if you farb up your code and SB doesn't know how to interpret it it will use the name files as backup.

Thanks, u save my day ... been scratching my head for days trying to figure this out :o

Thanks a lot for the answer! :)

I am experiencing problems with scrapebox.
when i start slow commenting on blogengine it seems to go ok and comments are submitted but after sometime is passed( it is a random time: can be 20 minutes like some hours) and i come back to check the pc i notice a long list of "failed, timeout". before timeouts begin i have almost all "success" results and i am sure timeouts are not real since those websites can easily be accessed by my pc and my internet connection is ok.
I have my timeout value setted to 70 seconds so it is very high. I then abort the process and remove the use of proxies but i keep getting timeouts(and my internet connection is good since i can normally visit webpages and also have xrumer running).I also have tried this without the use of proxies and i get the same problem.

The only way i have to make scrapebox to successfully comment again is to close it and to reopen it.
(sometime ago i have noticed a similar problem but with decaptcher...since I i had an red "ERR" message near "Decaptcher Balance" and the only way to make scrapebox to receive decaptcer balance again was to close and restart it)

What can i do to solve this problem?

thanx a lot

ps: i am on win7 64bit and i am running scrapebox as administrator.

i have sent an email to the support about this but no reply.....

I purchased 12 private proxies yesterday. After scraping a few thousand URLs from google, I'm getting error 302 (ip bocked) with 10 proxies. Is this temporary? How long should I wait before I can scrape again with no error. Thanks.

i think proxies are useless for scraping, but maybe useful for commenting. Google won't ban ip when gathering urls or email, it can ban when commenting too much.

Don't confuse getting banned/blocked by anti-spam mechanisms for commenting a lot with getting blocked for scraping the search engines.

goog/y!/bada bing can and will block you for a period of time if a single IP repeatedly scrapes data from them. Trust me on that one :D.

The comment blocking is done by filters like aki$met and others. They look for patterns (e.g. same name + same comment to a kajillion blogs, or same IP spitting out hundreds or thousands of comments in a matter of minutes).

Now what happens when you blog-spam the world and goog indexes those comments is another topic altogether, but I just wanted to clarify a bit about proxies and the impacts of not using them for scraping and for commenting.

[if thats the case proxie providers would loose alot of subscribers]

hay greg how many times have we said this

use public proxies for scraping as there always around
use private ones for posting x 1001 times said lolz

ATTN!

GUYS CREDIT GOES TO GREG FOR THIS FIX!

I was having issues with crashing during scraping...ultimately GregStereo (who should get paid for being the customer service arm of Scrapebox)

He ultimately said "try turning it back to the previous version" which I did...I rolled back to the previous version of Scrapebox...viola it ran all night with no issues and scraped 1.3 million urls....Try that guys and see what happens....

Also on a side note with multithreading while your scraping...less seems to be more....I turned my connections down from 30 back to 11 and I have been scraping 80 urls/sec all morning! With 30 connections all I got was 20ish maybe...just a thought...

major lolz - I've lost count of how many times proxies have been a source of confusion, debate, discussion, angst, and wailing and gnashing of teeth in this thread.

Yeah proxies can be a bit tricky to use, but they are well worth it. It just takes a bit of time to learn how to work with them....

@turbopugsley - thanks, was just suggesting some troubleshooting steps I'd tried and seen SF suggest as well. And interesting observation about less is more....thx for sharing it.

Good hunting guys and girls...there's lots of advice on bhw about troubleshooting and tuning/optimising the Box...reading is fundamental.

scrapebox should spend more time in videos to teach newb like me how to use proxies with sbn how to find them, what to chosse, what not to do, etc.. I looked at their videos on their youtube channel but it isn't very detailed for someone who just discover proxies.
Anyway i am going to see if I find French proxies because if blog webmasters see that a post comes from anywhere but the country he is supposed to have been post (the language country) he might found that suspiscious and not validate the comment...

i've just made my few firsts harvestings. I noticed that :

- with proxies grabbed by sb and said to be ok, not one result
- without proxies : tons of results

so sb tool to find proxies is useless? (there is a disclamer just before accessing to the tool, which say that proxies gattered with their tool are not certified by us :)

@ carlito - have you looked through the stickied posts in the Proxies forum? apekillape has posted some very good tuts about proxies there. There's some other great threads there about proxies as well.

As far as geo-centric IP's, I don't know for sure, but I don't think most mods are going to check where your IP is coming from...couldn't hurt if you could find some local ones, they might be faster any way, I'm just not sure about what bump in approval rate you'll see. If your comments are in the right language and not spammy, that will probably do more for your approval rate than your IP...especially with French, which is pretty wide-spread across the globe (think Canadian proxies as well - Francophones, Canucks, separatists).

The proxy harvester is not useless, that was kind of the point proxygo was trying to make. It's been discussed a lot before, the proxies it can harvest are free (so the price is right lol) but they are heavily used because they are free. The disclaimer is because they are from sources outside of scrapebox's control.

You don't understand what allintitle is supposed to do. Its NOT supposed to work with wordpress, thats how Google designed it. Here is a good start, follow the trail:
