scrapebox crashes so much, its the biggest challenge this software gives, using it between crashes without losing much work in the process.

Here's a suggestion.

Just like auto-saving the harvested URLs, posted URLs should also be autosaved.

I mistakenly deleted my file containing 7k posted links that I wanted to verify.

Please SF, add this feature!

I would like to see this feature too!

I am getting a huge amt of timeouts with the blog analyser even though im running 10mbs and only 4 threads...any ideas?

@turbopugsleylx: seems like your DNS server blocked you from requesting alot of sites at the same time. Try other DNS servers.

No, your current DNS servers in your Configured TCP/IP in your local PC. Because "blog analyzer" use your real IP to analyze these blogs, not your proxies so the only problem lied in your PC aka configured TCP/IP DNS servers.

Things work like this:
When you connect to a site (yahoo.com for example), your network card must ask DNS servers where is its address (IP Address) but blog analyzer made alot of requests (a bunch of domains at the same time) that's why maybe dns servers blocked it and not resolving IP Address of these sites (or these sites are all dead lol).

Solution:
Go to your Local Network Area > Properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) > Check "Use the following DNS Server addresses" > Enter 1st line: 4.2.2.3, 2nd line: 8.8.8.8

I got a lot of DNS servers, but you can use these 2.

I entered company name in the "full name" field, is this ok?

10 proxies isn't gonna get you very far at all if you're going to get serious about sbox

and anyone who is running a computer attached to the internet without proper security in place is an idiot

gregstereo please reply:

1 Can you use 10 to get started I only have a two newish websites don't need crazy amounts of back links right now thought I'd build up to it.
- just got sbox barley know how to operate it

2 "without proper security in place is an idiot" please explain - I am a bit of a noob and what do you mean by this (apart from the obvious) can you advice on what kind of security I need and why (much thanks)

Changed those settings...still doing the same thing.....

it starts out reading urls properly filing them as purple, pink, green etc....then after the first 40 or so its all red (timed out) errors for nearly every one....how do u fix this?

@stuggling1: use Antivirus on the PC you're running SB is just fine. I use ESET AV.

@turbopugsleylx: If this shit still happen, Try to check your router / router firewall / PC firewall. Turn off firewall maybe can help. Also I got the freaking same problem like you when I still used a crappy router :) Try to replace with a better router as well then check it again main.

Well I am not using any router...Im hard wired....let me try the firewall and see what happens....I already made an exception for sbox but didn't help any....also what search engines need to be checked (or does it no matter?) and also does use proxies need to checked or unchecked (or does it not matter....?)
