Also, crash protection does not work. I lose everything in the project every time.

Yea I know lol. But what is the purpose behind it? Wouldn't you loose the real link to where you want to post? I read somewhere on this forum that people do it to keep track of domains that approve posts automatically. I guess that could be one use.

You can strip the URL and run a site:domain.com to find all pages. Then you simply run a PR check to see which URL has the best PR and then you make your comment there. Add "site:" to footprints and use all your harvested domains as keywords right below the footprint field.

Hi Sweetfunny,

I've posted this before but got no response. I purchased Sracpebox and run it on Vista. I update each time I run it and every time it crashes my computer.

I'm able to get all the way to posting comments and it starts posting then crashes my machine.

Is this software supposed to work on Vista?
Is anyone else having trouble with this?
Any solutions?

If it can't work on Vista, I can move to an XP machine. I just need some feedback on this.

Thanks

Red

Sweets has mentioned before sometimes having trouble accessing bhw and pm's etc. If you feel you have a genuine issue, send it in via support @ scrapebox dot com.

Before you do that, though, couple things. Yes it does run on Vista machines. If you have access to another machine, whatever Win OS it is, you might want to try that to isolate the problem and get sbox running for you.

There have been some conflicts with AV apps, certain firewalls, etc., just like a # of other win apps. There's a thread here on bhw about troubleshooting scrapebox crashes, maybe look through that and see if there's anything helpful in there. It's a really lean, stable app, but like any other Windoze app it can run into compatibility conflicts at times.

And if you want more advice/troubleshooting post or PM more info - any security software (AV, firewall, anti mal or spyware) installed, what platform(s) you're trying to comment to, what mode you're in when it crashes (fast or slow), the type of Windows error message that appears (or a screenshot) etc.

peace - gregs.

With the comment poster is it possible to have a specific name(s) set for each URL? The way the program works now it just chooses a random name and random URL from the lists you give it. Unfortunately this means if you want to leave the comment poster running overnight and you have multiple URL's then you won't get the right anchor text you want.

Greentitanium, You don't need any money for proxies. You can just harvest free proxies with the sb, so just download it.

Hey SweetFunny,

I have a small suggestion.

Like, I harvest 10k URLs, and then post to 5k, with 1k successfully. So, there should be a feature to export the rest 9k.

Please add it, or tell me if it's already there.

Thanks

Export posted successfully. Load your 5K urls in the main URL box. Then click compare and copare it to posted list. Then you will get the 9K youre looking for.

Which 5k to load? The ones that were tried, or those that I skipped?

Let's do it again.

I load 20k into blog poster
I post to 5k, with 1k being successful.
How do I export the rest 19k?

:)

Just bought the program. Please activate the licence for the TXN ID - #7EU55455UN8262827

Thanks. :)

Is it possible that proxy unlocking doesn't work in latest 1.14.73 version of SB? Possible bug?

The Link Lock feature might be what you are looking for.

Go to the scrape box usage guide which you can find in the help menu of SB, then go to comment poster in the guide and scroll down to near the bottom of the page.

Cant post a link hence the windy instruction!
