dunno which setting it off the top of my head. But scrapebox uses your internet explorer security settings.

Look at the site that is causing the issue. Then open it in IE. Then mess with the settings until it doesn't cause it in IE when you try to post to it or whatever. Then try that site again in scrapebox, change some more settings if need be. At some point your bound to either figure it out or go crazy.

Yeah what he said. But on a more informational note, I never use IE for surfing anything, so I just jacked down a bunch of the security settings in IE. I know there's one in there that specifically references Certificate Revocations. Turn it off if you're getting a lot of bad cert errors. Stupid webmasters who don't update their SSL certs...off to go check my own lol...

Suggestion:

When scraping for proxies, make it so that Scrapebox does not test the failed proxies. I found 400 successful, but I still have to wait for the other 2,000+ to test for IP security, even though they won't be used because they're dead.

This would save a ton of time.

There is a reason why SB is doing the IP test even the access test failed.
The access test is doing a test against google, to verify if the proxy can be used for the harvester. When the access test fail, it does not mean the proxy is dead, it only means that the proxy cannot be used for harvesting via google. When the IP test is positive, you still can use that proxy for posting or other google unrelated tasks.

loopline i keep missing u on skype

I have just purchased it. I think there is no need for more reviews here, but I will post mine anyway.

Actually I used a paypal account that I didnt have immediate access to the email - but I was able to download and register in the end after contacting scrapebox support.

Thanks!

Scrapebox is so simple - in the first few hours of using it _ I have already been able to post over 150 comments

Well needless to add this is an awesome tool.

To be honest I havent read the whole thread, but maybe someone would be kind enough to help me with that one :

For 500 comments posted everyday, how many private proxies would you recommend? I'm about to go for YPP, but Im not sure of how many I need.

I've had it for a couple of weeks now but want to move it to a VPS. How would I go about moving my license there?

When you start posting with ScrapeBox, it shows the the successful posts and the failed ones, does the successful ones mean that it actually gone past Akismet? like when your domain is blacklisted and it shows a blank page?

If I remember correctly, there are some limitations (specifically performance, web sessions, and the number of different filtering apps out there) that limit sbox to only trying to post and reporting whether the post request was successful - which does not necessarily mean your comment passed any spam mechanisms in place.

Well there is no rocksolid answer to that question, becuase it depends on lots of things. But I would start with 10, measure your success and upgrade as needed.

Thank you loopline. I've been reading your posts. ANd im going to get scrapebox as soon as i move to my next house. thanks a lot!
