On another note: which private proxies do you guys suggest? and how many would I need for SB? is 10 enough?

The more proxies the better. Aki$met will catch your ips pretty quickly if you only have a few.

My scrapebox crashes everytime when i harvest wp blogs with custom footprint, i use proxies from not public lists, what is wrong ? 2 days ago everything was fine

Running the latest version of sbox? Send in the crash report if so.

I've been testing this software for a week and I must say, I got some very good results, great job SF.
I've moved up on the SERP's for every site that I've blasted and I didn't even ping anything, I let Google discover everything on its own.

For everyone wondering about how to speed things up, I think this post is a great example of the better route. Be patient, let goog et al find your backlinks organically. If you can't handle the wait, spin up another comment spree for a different site while you're waiting. You could even be megagenerous and do a sbox run for another bher.

May Day, May Day! Google has changed the internet as we have known it! It has effectively (or not), changed its algorithm to a more "themed" or Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) algorithm. This was done I believe for two major reasons:

This is hardly new...nor worthy of a May Day!
Google has always been about relevancy, both on site (content) and off site (relevant links). So use relevant content and get relevant backlinks...simple.

SB is awesome for building high volumes of links to your feeder (relevant) sites which in turn feed your main site.

Nope, I prefer to let them be found organically over time.

assumeably your talking about yahoos link domain feature? Did you check yahoo site explorer to make sure there were actually more then 10 pages? What exactly are you trying to scrape, I mean can you post your exact scrape string/settings as an example? Are your proxies good tested proxies?

Well if you think about it, it is a blog commenter, not a guaranteed link builder. I mean it just automates blog commenting. So if you go to a blog a leave a comment, it doesn't mean its instantly approved. It is likely moderated. So sbox just automates the submission. Most blogs still moderate the comments. So successful just means that it was submitted successfully. Bearing in mind that when you harvest thousands of blogs from Google, you get ones that arent able to be commented.

How many links you get depends on how good you comments were. Plus it takes time for them to be approved. I would say I hit optimum at 3-5 weeks after my runs.

to make it worse for you, after doing fast poster... go for link checker you will notice that maybe 2 out of 500 was only found.

i dont know but i read somewhere here that SB needs lowering of IE:s security settings to fuction properly(?)

That's only for if you're getting security warnings from the sites sbox is trying to post to.

The other links are awaiting moderation or in the spam queue of the target blogs. Give it time and the number will increase as blog admins approve your comments. Unless you've written really spammy comments.
