okay I finally got this today! Yahoooo!

Now the only thing that seems hard for me is coming up with tons of comments.

Does it scrape comments by keyword?

If not, can someone please share some tips or a routine to get this accomplished.

There is a addon for SB that finds the sites with malware/shit/scum and gives you the chance to delete them before commenting. You normally will only get the prompts to say your AV has defended your pc and thats it!

The learning curve isn't too crazy. That said, the app does a hell of a lot. My free advice as always is to go through the youtube scrapebox channel videos, read the unofficial guide (which last I saw covers about the first 30-35 pages of this thread), and then begin to experiment with the app. It can do a lot, and there's a lot of good info here on bhw about it. Just use your head when you're using the app.

It still helps. And sbox has some other in-built crapware protections. But any tool that runs through as many sites as this one does is going to run into some rogue sites. And anyone doing what we do is likely running some stuff that makes us more vulnerable to infections (don't take that the wrong way, it's just the reality for each of us).

What are you running for antivirus/antimalware protection?

Not sure what you mean by "Does it scrape comments by keyword?" It scrapes sites for keywords/phrases.

But guessing from your comment you mean something different. There are a lot of different techniques for writing successful comments and a lot of hesitance to share those too much for fear of saturation (which has happened - believe me, I know it has happened...first-hand).

Best generic advice I can give is to spin the holy hell out of your comments - this both makes them seem more authentic (if done right - read your spintax to make sure it sounds natural) and helps you avoid the spamtraps.

I know a lot of people (myself included) "borrow" approved comments from other sites (blogs, youtube, etc.) and spin them into myriad combinations to make them "our own". This is both quick (aka lazy, like I like it) and a good tactic - if a comment has proven good enough to get approved on another site, it is a ripe target to us to use when seeking approval of a comment of "our own".

There's a lot of other tactics - long-assed comments intended to bore the mod into blindly approving them, short generic comments about current events, targetted comments that are relevant to the keywords we're targetting, etc.

On the flipside, don't waste time with:
"Your site is really nice but there is a problem with the layout in {Kameleon|iCab|Flock|Ubuntu's browser}...."
"{Great|Nice|Wonderful} post. May I borrow your RSS feed?"
"I found your site on {Google|delicious|Bing}...."

Those are way saturated. And please, for my own sanity, don't post shit like:
"Comfortably, I can assure that this is the delightfulest post I have comprehended on the network..."

1 - proxies - lots and lots and lots of them - preferably ones not used by other sbox users and other blog spammers
2 - lots of comments that are heavily spun
3 - lots of names and email addresses - like a 1:1 ratio for names/emails:target blogs
4 - mix up the backlink domains and URL's as much as possible
5 - and most questionable/controversial - mark your own and others' sbox generated comments as "Not Spam" in your own aki$met-protected blogs

Lately I had two computers go on me. Each time I reinstalled Scrapebox and each time your support team was kind enough to send me an email to to validate my license.

Now the same thing happened again. According to your support I am no longer allowed to use Scrapebox or shall I say you will no longer validate my license for the rest of this month.

Your support person mentioned that I Did Not read the TOS. It's true. I really had no idea that your software license could only be verified one extra time per computer for 1 month. And why is this not said in the email you send to customers with their validation code and so on?

Which means that if someone gets a virus or their hardrive calves they are allowed to validate that computer for 1 time only per month! If it happens again they are out of luck!

I just wonder if there isn't a better way of doing this?

Here is the email message I received from Scrapebox:

If you get a virus and need to reformat your machine, then yes as I said there's provision for a free transfer every month.

Hi lostgringos,

I agree with you for the most.

What's SB team doing is protecting themselves from fraud from "bad" clients. They have right to and I agree with it. I am sure there is a lot of people that would like to abuse the license.


However what it would be correct (in my opinion) to protect the rights of the customer as well implemeting new rules and new methods of fraud detection.

I will have a new laptop before the end of July and I would like to run it in two laptops in the same LAN, in the meantime. I hope there will be a "legal" way to do this.

P.s. Maybe linking the license to the PayPal email? I doubt somebody will sell the email address to somebody else. Anyway I think there are other ways of control that are good for the SB team and customers as well.

Your comments are totally unfair to the author, you will not find a better product and customer service for the money ANYWHERE. If you reformat your computer every day do you expect them to relicense everyday? You paid less than $60 for this product with zero ongoing fees to the author. You are responsible for protecting your computers not SF!

If you have 10 machines running SEO routines that suggests it is 'big' business to you.

My suggestions:

1) Pay SF say $10 to $20 (per license activation) if you need to relicense more than once a month.
2) Buy another copy if you have used up the free monthly reactivation. With 10 machines it would make sense to have more than one copy. I haven't checked the terms of the license but I suspect you could then sell your license (along with the matched Paypal account) in less than a month when your original license can be reactivated.

Indirectly yes SB will provide the comments. Harvest the blogs and then clicks the urls to open the internal browser. From there you can pick the ones you like, spin them and use as yours.
