@Sweetfunny - suppose we are searching for "Powered by vbulletin" and google returns
1,160,000,000 results(all of them are not shown by google). Will the scrapper scrap 1,160,000,000 results of vbulletin and list them by page rank.

Hey fellas quick question:

Scrapebox's RSS pinging IS NOT the same thing as what RSS Submit (the software by d*mmy software) does...

Is it?

Just a quick note that .33 addresses some more quirks with Google's design change which i uploaded a few hours back.

But also another addon is available, a bulk Yahoo Link Checker/Scraper:

You can get the link count, plus also extract the URL's and Page Titles of the backlinks:

Because the Yahoo harvester uses an official Yahoo API, the linkdomain: operator didn't work great because that uses siteexplorer. So the addon fixes that allowing you to check and pull down backlinks more accurately. As you can see it works on a page level as well as a domain level.

SF, like the new backlink feature.

When you 'show' the links is it limited to 1000 backlinks as I have a few sites that state 1300 and 1400 but it then shows 1000?

Yes that's the Yahoo limit, there's no real way to get around that regardless if an API is used or the front end is scraped. :(

Is it the top 1000 backlinks (by PR etc) or a random 1000 backlinks (I am guessing the former)?

Good question, it's obviously not by PR because that's a Google metric. But based on my observations over the years i do have a hunch they are ordered roughly by importance to Yahoo. I don't think Yahoo have ever said officially the method of sorting however.

I ran it on winxp with....384MB RAM for awhile...and it ran fine. Its pretty lighweight in general.

Good times...upgrading that PC to 2GB RAM was such an improvement overall.

I think if that's the only thing running and you have the PC at least slightly optimised it will do fine.

I might just set up another SB on the other laptop blowing smoke up blog owners arses while I can carry on doing my main work with my main lappy, The only slight downside using the slow commenter is the main focus thing but cant have it all -

Anyone know 100% if I can have one SB on two computers?

100% no, it is locked to the PC. You can move it once a month for free (I did it recently).

Can it be that google sat the level lower after what amount of search requests google strikes? It seems to me that I have much faster the situation that google wont serve results now. And it seems google even wont show the captcha for unblocking.
Is it only me?

@SebastianJu - Same thing has happened to me. I was thinking cr*p, did I just do something noobish. Coz I thought I was being careful using scrapebox. But, now that I know i'm not the only one with this problem, I feel better, lol.

Well I drank the kool-aide and bought it. Damn, this beats the pants off of having to write, spin and post articles.

So what do you guys do for an average blast? 50? 100? I've noticed that most need to be approved, so it's like they'll drip into existence and plenty will not be approved. I'm doing 50 at a time for domains that I care about and 100 for things that never ranked. Any suggested numbers?

i have problem with scrapebox
