I've tried searching this thread for this answer but this thread is soooooo long. I might have missed it.

Here's the deal... I had a #1 position and now I'm slipping down a bit. I just did a major over haul, for the better, (very detailed on-page optimization) I basically had just stuck up a site just to see if I could hit the first page and it worked.

But anyway now I NEED Google to come and reindex my site.

QUESTION: --->>> Would You lightly ping one of your money sites? To get the bots back out.

I don't want to get deindexed (temp, permanant, whatever) my money site.

I ain't thinking about doing no massive pinging. Just something to send the bots back out.

What's your thoughts? I ain't never used scrapebox directly on my $$$$ site.

One example, let's say your name is Angela and you sell packages of places to put a link. You are telling everyone that they get PR8, PR7... links and you show them the list of the top level domain PR.

I can't update it to 1.14.9
I run 1.14.7 now and tried to run the update automatically AND manually a few times but everytime it gives an error back "unable to backup scrapebox.exe!"

I would love to get this to work I really would. All 2k were on auto approve BlogEngine blogs, using slow commenter accurate mode. I ran check links and it said 50% success. Whats the point of "check links" if it gives me all false positives?

Still manually going through all 1k "success" and so far randomly checking about 700 of them--- ZERO posted.

I manually posted to a bunch of them however.

The whole point of this software for me is that it automates the process. I can find blogengine backlinks myself and manually post all day. I was hoping this software could do it for me.

Blogengine is working fine for me. Do you want to post here or PM say 20 sites plus your comment and I will run it through my SB and let you have the results.

Are you including links in your comments? I don't generally bother but I believe you need BCC as many Blogengine sites have disabled standard http links.

sbox is pretty low-resource in terms of cpu, ram, etc.; i usually have a few instances of it running @ any one time and it doesn't slow the workstation up at all...sweetfunny has done a great job of keeping it low-profile

the more bandwidth you have the faster it can work its magic

And there is no upgrade available on the market for the most people.

I get daily on 3 blogs ~ 50 comments (each blog) with stupid and total crap posts ( i believe from the SB)... Finance/Cash/Forex niche

and a slim down system is a happy system 22 processors

It seems to me there is an error in the linkchecker.

I used a 32k big list of stat-services together with a parked domain of mine that is 2 years old. It has 1 backlink so I thought it would be a good test to see how these statlinks can be best made visible to search engines.

So I used the rapid indexer. Newest version. Loaded the list of services with correct marker and in the other file I wrote the domain. Without www or http://. Only the tld and the second level domain. In the form domain.com (Not my real domain).

After it was finished, nearly 100% didnt receive an error and I wanted to check if the links are there. With the linkchecker.

Unfortunately the linkchecker cant handle the statsfile with the marker and isnt automatically replacing the url. So I had to replace the marker and take this file to check. As domain I again checked in the form domain.com without www or something else.

The check started and nearly 100% were shown as found. So i checked the sites manually and... no link there. Sometimes there is wrote on these sites "Couldnt find something about domain.com" but its not a link. And sometimes even this isnt there. Then the only place where domain.com is mentioned is the url of the page.

So I thought maybe it needs the http. So I used then

http://domain.com
http://www.domain.com

Now it seems it finds less results as found. But... the link isnt on the page. On one page the link is there... somehow. But leads to a subdirectory that isnt there on the targetpage. Which means this link is useless and shouldnt be found.
And again there are sites where nowhere a link is visible. But now i found what the checker maybe confused. A link in the form:

http://twitter.com/home?status=http.../matthewg15/4268537926/ http://bit.ly/cwpp30

That means if thats the link that was found its not real. Its only part of another link and no real backlink.

So it seems something needs to be fixed there so that only real backlinks are found. That means for me that subdirectories doesnt count as long as I didnt check "Match Domain only" in Link Checker...

Edit: By the way it would be interesting to let the linkchecker check if the link is no- or d-o-f-o-l-l-o-w (Whats the thing to make these 2 words stars???). Or is there already a way to check this?
