if i would to get my own proxies, does it has to be C class for comment posting etc?

i seem to be getting problems with the Malware & Phishing filter hanging everytime it gets down to the last few.. have to press abort..

then when i use filter - Remove Bad/Error sites it removes the error sites but not the bad ones..

The malware addon is still in beta, and was just updated today. Maybe try the latest version.

Hey, I was just wondering: One of my websites is 1yr old, has over 50,000 backlinks already, but still ranks pretty shit in the SERPs. How many comments should I spam at once, and how often? like 1k/day or 5k/day?

Thanks,

Slow commenter accurate mode is there a way to stop it from popping on top when running everytime i use it. can't get anything done real pain kevin

For the slow commenter accurate mode to work correctly, it needs to keep doing that.

I've instead opted for creating a huge list of blog engine blog posts and letting the slow commenter mode run while I'm asleep.

so does any class of proxies work with scrapebox or must it be C class for better success?

Since a lot of blogs are nofollow, this is what I plan to do.

Comment to about 2000 BlogEngine blogs. From my experience, around 100 or so will be ****************.

Now, obviously Google would look down upon 2000 new links. But thing is, does Google count nofollow links for purposes of penalizing sites?

Say if I'm running commenting using a list of shared proxy, if 1 of the proxy is dead during commenting on BLOG A, will SB load a new 1 and continue the operation or it simply skip commenting on BLOG A?

Do you ever get that feeling....you know the one...I think it's called deja vu lol:

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...og-commenter-prstorm-mode-92.html#post1690888

from that post by some douchebag claiming to know a lot about scrapebox:

Again, IIRC, generally when sbox is working any of its magic like commenting or harvesting target URL's, if a proxy fails, the app moves on to the next one in the pool and retries whatever it was attempting to do.

i guess will check it out. is it any good for non-techie as it seems you are making some fixes around the tool?

Sweetfunny is constantly making enhancements, useful additions, and yes sometimes bug fixes. But mostly enhancements. In the six months or so this app has been on the market it has morphed from being a really good blog commenting tool to being an amazing piece of kit that I consider the best value on the market bar NONE. It's not a Swiss army knife but it's getting really close.

It shouldn't be that hard for a "non-techie" to learn, especially with all the resources available (youtube channel, documentation, this thread and others). It's just a tool, a really fucking great tool, but still a tool...kinda like a gun. You can use it well, like to shoot sharks with frickin' lasers on their heads if they try to attack you, or you can use it badly, like to shoot yourself right between the eyes accidentally.

My advice? Look at the features; then just buy it. Where else are you going to get a blog commenter/URL harvester/proxy harvester and tester/PR checker/alexa rank checker/outbound link checker/TDNAM scraper/whois scraper plus whatever else it can do these days I'm sure I'm forgetting something....oh yeah mp3 player plus you can play chess against it....for the price of this app?

Then read this thread and take notes, read yukinari84's scrapebox best practices thread and take notes, and watch the youtube videos. Then identify or setup one or a few targets of your own (e.g. a wordpress blog and a blogengine blog) and practise using it on yourself before you spam the world.

No they don't have to be C class. Proxies from any class can work - and fyi sbox's in-built proxy tester does a nice job of discarding leaky proxies, dead ones, etc. So you can just shovel in a load of proxies, test them, sort by response time of those that are left, and end up with a pretty decent little list.

The "better" the calibre and quantity of your proxies the better success you'll have, but that doesn't mean they must be C class.

and instead of pointing to 1 proxie suplier
give people choice - choice is better because
when you speak of only 1 is sounds biast

there are several options
for proxies available to users here on bhw

be advised if u rent 10 - 25 proxies for a month
and get them burned into akismet its not the owners
fault to replace them. so if u get them banned after
a week - u probably wont get them replaced.
prices start at 30$ a month rented.
http://www.yourprivateproxy.com/l

then theres mrtornado here selling private monthly
rented proxies - prices starting from 10$ a month
for 1 proxies
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...usive-private-proxies-best-prices-around.html

then theres mrankin

http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...list-membership-site-150-working-proxies.html

then we have justone proxy collective
this service uses collected proxies submitted
by members 19.99$/month
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackh...proxies-craigslist-no-pva-scrapebox-more.html

then theres myself providing scraped proxies for scrape box
80$ lifetime membership - proxies scrape cleaned checked and posted
http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackha...d-proxies.html

who u buy from is upto you always read peoples sales threads
feedback - some people will prefer private proxies for lite use
others will use scraped proxies for thoes who have a heavy use
and use daily scraped proxies so they dont suffer a proxie ban
b4 there 1 month rental runs out.

What I've seen there's no other tool that can do what it can!!!

This is one of those Gems that make being a BHW Member even better :)

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but I have updated to 1.12.38 and scrapebox won't load now. Any ideas what i need to do to get it back up and running?

Thanks

Excellent points all around jammo, and just to reiterate and amplify a bit:

First - full disclosure on my part, as anyone who has read some posts by me knows, yes I am a subscriber to proxygo's forum. It's a great source of proxies. And he's a great guy to work with who has been very helpful to a number of people with varying levels of proxy knowledge.

Second - I've subscribed to more than one service (I don't know the right word to use - "public"? that doesn't really describe it) - any way, in the past I've signed up with other proxy providers who at first were more than happy to get the business but within a matter of weeks they ended up banning sbox usage (or at least banned a significant part of its usage like, oh I don't know, oh yeah - commenting on blogs...you know, one of sbox's primary functions). Make sure you ask any potential proxy source if they have an issue with sbox traffic.

Third - whether you buy shared or private proxies, there is a great likelihood that at some point you will have some burnt proxies. For example, @kismet has a pretty long memory, and it might not even be something you've done - if someone else used a proxy IP to a point where @kismet decided to blacklist it, the IP is pretty worthless after that. And jammo is right - it's not the proxy providers fault when that happens.

Oh and don't fool yourselves thinking @kismet bans only on IP - proxies are critical for automation tools like ScrapeBox, but the algorithms look @ other factors too. And @kismet is only one of the companies with bots "watching" what you're doing. There are many others.

Proxies are probably the most frequent source of questions and confusion in the sbox threads, and my advice is like jammo's. Read up, educate yourself, look around, ask questions, and then get yourself LOTS of proxies. Like with any other method, putting all your eggs in one basket is dangerous.

Just curious about that before buying. Once I get an honest answer, the $57 is on the way. =P

Well there isn't a correct answer. Blackhat is about experimentation. Frankly though if it were me I would be blasting about 50K urls a day for a couple months straight.

Then in the mean time I would make some web 2.0 sites/blogs or some 301 sites that link/redirect to your site and blast the living day lights out of them. Im talking 300K a day if you can harvest, filter and post that many in a day.

Then create a RSS Feed for your site, upload it to your site then submit it to aggregators.

Then pick as many trackbacks as you can too.

Thats if you want to be a bit risky and agreesive, elsewise scale it back as you see fit and test, measure, re-test and re-measure. If in doubt go with heavy blasting of the sites that link to yours and light blasting of your own site.

Consider though, if spamming the living daylights out of a site would cause it some harm, especially an established site, then you could make a killing doing it as a service for others. But thats not the case, and Big G has no way to tell if you are spamming your own sites or if a competitor is doing it to you.

Gregs what do you think?

Try re-downloading it from the scrapebox server. Also you could try to copy an instance of an older version over the current one or even use your original file and update again. I updated all my instance to .38 with no issues.

btw sweetfunny, i want to know about can i use SB on my netbook which have 9" monitor?

It should run fine, but bear in mind that it will be severely limited by your processor and ram. I had a dual core 1.9Ghz 2GB Ram machine and it would lock up if I tried to post to more then 20K fast poster blogs in one go. Your netbook will have even less resources to use, so plan on having a lot of intervention and small runs on everything. You will probably need to turn your timeouts way up and your connections way down too.

Ahhh had the timeout for 10 seconds. I increased it to 25 seconds and now it is working i think. Its saying "submitted"

thanks so much for helping me.

Glad to help mate! :)

So I was using the slow commentor while I was about, and I got this download notification, and basically I wasted my whole day because of this ..

71wkfzsj72qpqruox1r.png

Sbox filters out the most common types of files that cause this to display. What I would do if I were you is to first black list this domain so you don't have that issues again.

Then submit this using the scrapebox support under the help tab. That way it can be analyzed and see if the *.fdt is typically a file and is one that it would be beneficial to block automatically.

Elsewise just keep moving forward. Some things are just bound to happen, its part of the imperfect world we live in.
