What I meant is, you should try to run the OS in safe mode and check if you get the same behavior.
 
I tried to harvest Blogengine-Blogs and found that AOL doesnt work with that. AOL harvest Wordpress and Movable Type but not Blogengine. Tried without proxies too.

Will i think its AOL's problem not scraebox's. Use bing, or goole for harvesting (i generally use them, bing to get some quality sites as it only indexes old and reputed sites).

mine was doing this before I reformatted. I also added 512mb more to my machine and now it's smooth. either change the amount of connections in scrapebox a lower number or add some ram. Dunno

I think so too. It maybe has to do something with the footprint that AOL cant handle? Dont know. Only wanted to mention...
 
hi guys (esp sweetfunny)

i bought scrapebox a couple of weeks back but its only now that i had the chance to use it... since im still in the "trial and error" phase, i would like to ask what to do with the proxies included in the scrapebox package since NONE of them works (i used the test proxies button). i tried removing the tick in the Use Proxies option but when i start scraping, i get the message
Code: 
"You are trying to harvest url's without the use of proxies! Are you sure you want to continue?"

out of ignorance, i answered No (i dont want to continue), and so i could not proceed with the harvesting and the whole scraping process. my question is, WHAT'S the effect of not using proxies during the harvesting and scraping? Will i get flagged/banned or something that harsh? if yes (or maybe), then shouldn't the scrapebox package include list of proxies that are ACTIVE AND WORKING, since it is a fundamental part of the strategy? or how about give a fresh list everytime there's an update so that at least in principle, the proxies attached in the scrapebox package actually serves a purpose and not just a piece of useless file like an appendix?
also, if live/working proxies are really not included or guaranteed in the scrapebox package, where do you recommend i get them? are there free ones? if i HAVE TO purchase, where are the best places to buy and what's the best price in the market right now? has anyone here tried the "scrapebox proxies" in sweetfunny's signature links? and are they usable for life (meaning 1-time payment) or do they have a certain lifespan (like good for 1 month, year, etc)?

Hope sweetfunny or any one of you scrapebox experts could extend me some advice or assistance. thanks.

google will block your ip real fast without proxies. If you buy proxies they should be used for posting not scraping urls. You need to get the free proxies working. Check and see if your antivirus is blocking the proxy harvester or a firewall.
 
great piece of software from what I hear. I normally only use personally customized software, but by the looks of it. This is a great buy. Ill keep everyone posted as to how well I can get to work!

For scraping the urls, use free proxies, which is available in bhw proxy section. For posting use private proxies.
 
It sounds proxy is very important for the software. Where can we find good proxy which are fast?
 
Unable to scrape good with public proxies... i can't imagine every single public proxy site being banned before i use it... damn it.
 
Has the priced changed to to 57$ ? Its written 47$ in the thread?
 
hey i have strange experience, today i was available ot download update of this SB, and like usual if the update has finish the update, i will restart and open again. but this time, after the update process has finish, SB restart but never open again like usual.

do you guys experience this to?

yup i am too experiencing the same problem. after updating to .35 , it is not executing(not even starting).
