In the middle way of comment posting my avira antivirus detect virus on the posting site and the SB will stop running until I delete the virus the SB only can continue to run. Should I disable my antivirus to make it none stop posting?

Uh no you shouldn't, unless you would like your computer to get infected with a virus.

If that's your goal, there are quicker ways to reach that goal.

I have 2Mbs speed, I didn;t use proxy cause I have dynamic IP. Any idea?

Runs for me at 12%, and during harvesting at 14%.
You need to provide some more info... when does it use 100%?

CPU usage is above 50% on mine when posting using Slow Poster.
I have a pretty decent computer, so I don't know wassup.

It seems the latest updates use more CPU than the first releases of scrapebox.

I have no problem with the fast posters etc.
But slow posting can freeze if I try to post to too many at one run or if I am doing other tasks on the computer when it's running.

Any ideas as to how the reduce the CPU power used?

What's strange is that I have a friend who has a less powerful pc and he can run 3 scrapebox at once, but I can hardly run 1.

Is there a setting in windows where you can give more computing resources to scrapebox?

i dont know whats going on but scrapebox locks up for me everytime now when making comments. it gets to about 4% and then stops doing anything, i click Abort, the scrapebox window turns high white and i get the dreaded "This program is not responding" error window. So I have to close it.

The version of Scrapebox that worked great for me was the one right before we had the ability to include %NAME% AND %BLOGTITLE% in our comments. I love those features but I am willing to drop back to those working versions if i could just so i could use this software again.

Same problem here, try downloading an older version, they got it somewhere.
Email the support about it, I'm not sure I'm allowed to share it here.

I just hope they get this issue fixed so it stops freezing and not responding.

In the past I could post to 10,000 blogs using slow poster without any problems. So this should be something the OP can fix.

i was using scrapebox previously and it was posting fine, then i downloaded the update last night, although i dont think this would make any difference (to the below)

but i just did a post run to wordpress blogs i had scraped and it says
failed 9961
success 1860

out of these successes, not a single one has been posted, it has been moderated,
so not a single link is showing out of 11,000

to the right of the blog urls they are all
failed, 500
failed, discarded
failed,403
failed,unable to post
or "failed,404"

it is set at 50 connections for the fast poster, i am on 10 mb cable broadband connection, so it isnt slow.

i also have the 10 second pause enabled on the comment poster.
so can anyone suggest anything that might resolve this, because it was definitely working better before, now out of 11,000 it is getting zero

which is obviously not acceptable

the urls it is attempting to post to are mostly good urls, all recent wordpress blog posts that have other links on there.

also how does the bandwidth you are on affect the scrapebox ?

i.e. how many connections for what broadband connection ?
i.e.
1mb
2mb
10mb
20mb
50mb

because i assume that if the broadband connection isnt fast enough then it skips urls ?

Obviously if everything is working fine for me, it's really hard to see any problem so i need something to help reproduce whatever the issue is.

Brought this a few months back. One of the main uses for this software has been to increase views on my Ezine Articles. But been trying all evening and every working proxy (from several sources) i've harvested is just not registering anymore.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Some systems update every 24 hours, so wait for 24 hours to see if you see change. Also there are some systems that can detect stuff liek this.

Try using new proxies + time delay, this works for me.

Just go find new directories where you can easily be in the top articles list.
There are hundreds of article directories out there, I don't like ezine articles, they are lame. LOL

You'll get more success if you aim for less popular article directories like ArticlesBase etc.

i couldnt send the copy + pasted text of the results of the post run because i started to harvest links because the comment poster wasnt working, but i copy + pasted the urls i tried to post to and send them via the contact us page on scrapebox.com

but if you test the urls, it might not be the urls that are the problem, i thought it might be something to do with a timeout isssue or something because of the amount of fails, which is why i put the other information/questions in the above post number 3370.
