Is anybody else getting totally unrelated harvested results? I keep getting utter crap the last few tries :(

@SF

I would like to have a progressbar or percent for the harvester. Especially when harvesting bigger lists I dont have a clue when it will end. That would be useful I think.

@All

What did you figure after how many days all comments are approved? I mean can you say that after 6 days or so mostly no comments are approved anymore or how many days will this take?

"Mostly" is the operative word there I think. From what I see, most blog admins who review comments review them the day they're received. As SF has noted before, I usually see a spike in visits the day of a comment run, with about 90% of those coming from WordPress Dashboard. It's the admins checking out the site.

But OTOH, a few days ago I got a comment back on one of my AB's thanking me for my comment from a run I did about three or four weeks ago.

Lazy blog admins lol.

*lol* He was really lazy...

But... the webmasters come to you and thank you for your comment? What kind of comments do you have??? :)

@SF

I figured that I have a problem with using linkdomain with SB. When I use it I only get 110 Backlinks. When I do it in Yahoo directly I get 1370. So I tried a bit and found the problem is something countryrelated. When I go to yahoo.com and type in linkdomain:domain.com I get the 110 Backlinks and are redirected to the siteexplorer.
In the url there is a countrycode as a directory. When i only delete this directorycountrycode I have 1370 backlinks again.
So I think yahoo is handling backlinks countryspecific. Finding out via ip where the visitor is coming from.
Is there a way to get the backlinks from the toplevel yahoo?

big kuddos to the creator of this software. Here's my second review:

I made one awhile ago when I bought it. Back then I couldn't work with it due to lack of knowledge. In the meantime I've learnt how to use it properly. In case you are in the same situation I used to be in, go watch the videos on youtube or download the manual (in the download section).

This tool has become one of my favourite tools to use on a daily base! why? because I've been able to rank on the first or second page for different keywords/products where you'll find super affiliates like Chris X, vitavee and Chris Carpenter. So yes I'm competing on the first page with super affiliates (who I think must use Xrumer a lot). I use it mainly to scrap websites or blogs. Do pagerank checks and keep the best ones to build up my list (and still growing). Also like in the manual stated, I use it to increase my ezinearticle views with the ping mode. One of the coolest updates has been the proxy scraper section. This section used to suck big time and pushed me to buy private proxys. Now, you get 9 out of 10 times a huge list of great proxys. During my last check (10 minutes ago) I managed to get around 800 proxys!

The ultimate option stays the autocomment posting option. Again, this has received an update and kick ass now! My posting ratio used to be poor, now I get around 50% to 80%! so for every 1000 blogs, I get easily 650 successful posts.

Just keep in mind, you'll always need to do some great SEO (especially in more competitive niches/keywords).

only minor note: the software doesn't run when you're on a proxy network (at least it doesn't work for me on the university campus), so you'll need to use this on a normal network.

conclusion: BUY THE SOFTWARE!

You cant harvest more than 1000 per keyword due to se limitations not scrapebox

the key to this is to use different keywords. I found out that that when using often the same words in different keywords, you'll get many duplicate urls. To avoid this I try to use synonyms etc. Also I use keyword elite to get different keywords instead of the software itself. If you enter 1000 it will try to find 1000 results for this keyword = 10 x 100 searches. Use different keywords dude. Also change the type of website platform.

I just realized that ScrapeBox is disregarding more keywords than 58 when scraping urls. I was trying to figure out why I wasn't getting enough urls scraped since I had a massive list of keywords....

Has it always been this way, or is this a bug?

i have to say i think sweetfunny should raise price for new customers preety heavy.

Ok done, ScrapeBox is now $57.

ScrapeBox has probably 30 times the features as it first went on sale at $47

The workload is huge, yesterday i done emails from 9:25am to 6:04am the last was sent out so what's that 18 1/2 hours without a break? As soon as i answered one, another came in and i didn't even get a chance to post here yesterday. As many have also mentioned, a lot of people are buying this who really have no real idea so the price may suddenly rise again at any moment.

More time needs to be spent on the tool itself, and less time answering 100 emails a day asking how to add private proxies when it's on the first page of the users guide complete with pictures.

Thanks everyone.

Is it that easy to make a request? Ok:

You should raise the price to $997

Good news!!

This isnt a hard tool to use. I bought it 4 days ago after reading through most of this thread and doing some more online research. After I made the purchase I read through the ENTIRE manual, watched the videos again, and started playing around with it. 95% of the questions I had were answered by just researching or posting here. Now 4 days later Im comfortable with the basic features and moving toward the advanced uses. Not to mention Im already starting to track my new backlinks :rock:

You sell a product, you arent responsible for holding people's hands while they figure out how to use it. Especially since its not that hard to figure out in the first place. Just make sure that people have the "Access" to the answers. Let them do the research to answer their questions. If their not smart enough to do their own research and figure out such a strait forward tool then they shouldnt have bought it in the first place.

Better yet, find someone to give a monthly webinar to go through all the features and do a mini training session. Invite current users and people who havent purchased it as well. I bet you could split the profit on the sales made to the webinar attendees with the person doing the webinar so it wouldnt cost you a thing and this could/should increase sales. Then take the videos from the webinar and blast them all of the video sites to drive traffic to your site to ... generate more sales.

Might I suggest that someone create a "Scrapebox User Forum". An Official place where verified users can go to educate themselves on the product, request new features, report bugs, and brag about how great Scrapebox is... Scrapeboxforum.com is an available domain. Id do this but I just dont have the time to take on such an undertaking. I would like to be a moderator though :)...!

If someone would create an official forum and there were a few people to moderate the forum, you could just refer people to the forum for the answers to their questions or issues. There are multiple long scrapebox threads on quite a few of the popular BH and IM forums online but not a central "Official" forum verified users can go to get answers to their questions. I can only imagine the questions you get on a daily basis. How would you like to put an autoresponder on your email that says "Please refer all questions and issues to www.scrapeboxforum.com?

This isnt a surprise... Your product is popular. And it sounds like the support is bogging you down. Fix this problem and move forward.

Then you can put your time where it belongs. Adding new kick ass features to your product.

OK..... that was a bit of a rant. Can you tell my background is sales and marketing. lol.... Just my 2 cents. or was it 4 cents.

I have so been there Sweetfunny - you have my sympathies and thanks. The ways I got round the problem in the end were:-

1) Realise you will always have a high percentage of lazy knobs as customers - it's just a fact of life

2) Set up an FAQ page/site and

3) Direct customers to that page/site in your reply emails unless their specific problems are a) interesting and/or b) not answered in the FAQs, whereupon you quickly add that issue to the FAQs.

Most importantly do not outsource support - it's always a disaster for any semi technical product (OK for diets, lingerie etc.).

I bought this last night, for the $47 :D
Phew!
I have been reading the manual and watching video tutorials on how to use ScrapeBox and it really is one of the best tools on the market. It is incredibly powerful!

@SweetFunny -> Is there going to be a update where we will be able to check if the blogs are 'd0f0ll0w' or not?
If there is going to be a update for this, when can we expect it?

Kudos on making this program, and I do not blame you for raising the price.
If I were you it would be a lot higher than $57! Especially considering the time your spending on it.

SweetFunny told me I was Lucky because I was the last guy who got Scrape Box for $47 :D

I tried it without reading tutorials, it's really an easy tool to use. Nice, simple and user friendly interface. Yet I downloaded all tutorials and going to watch all tutorials in case there is any "secret" tips I don't know.

For those who asked for common question/problem without searching answer by yourself, you're lazier than I do...Be independent and give SweetFunny more time to develop SB and we get greater version of SB :D
