So this is my first post..
Anyway I bought Scrapebox about a week ago and I'm so happy with it, really worth the price..

But start from 2 days ago, I couldn't harvest any url from big G, I always get this message "Error 404 Received!" and the search just stop automatically. Even when I tried with the keyword that I've succeeded before (around 800 url harvested). Does this mean that big G banned me? but I still can do search with my browser. I'm not using any proxy and i have dynamic IP. Help please..

I've read this thread until page 17th but still no way out so I stopped reading. Well, English is not my native language and I spent more than 3 days just to read 17 pages.. haha and I give up..

Anyway just want to suggest a feature, hope never been requested before..
Can you make scrapebox stop posting after a certain successful comments, then save the result and we can continue the process a day after with the remaining urls.. rather than wait and click stop..?

Yep, sounds like Big G has dropped the ban hammer on your scraping. Doesn't matter if you have a dynamic IP - don't scrape the search engines without using proxies - the free harvested proxies from SB will do for search engine scraping. Use them.

The block will "eventually" clear up - even though you can search manually, it sounds like they have nailed your scraping. Give it a bit of time, I forgot to tick Use Proxies once and got banned by them for several hours (I think I ended up going to bed and the next morning they had unblocked me).

You might want to look around here for the unofficial guide to SB - another BH'er compiled tips from the threads into a PDF, I think we were in the 30's or 40's for pages on this thread when he published it. It's pretty good and might be a quicker read for you (though there is some gold in this thread).

Also the videos on the youtube scrapebox channel are pretty easy to follow even if english != your native language (you write English quite well, btw).

I would like to add:
It would be a fine thing when you could specify a project name. For example I set the name "campaign 1" and make postings to it. And while this is happening the successful post-urls and the unsuccessful ones are stored in files. So I have 2 lists afterwards. One contains every successful post and the other the unsuccessful ones. So I later can reuse the unsuccessful ones or I can use the successful ones to avoid that I spam this url or domain again. I think that would be a good thing to avoid spamming a site with multiple entries. Raising the possibility to stick.

can somebody explain me the difference between fast poster, slow commenter and slow commenter accurate mode ?

Fast poster is multithread poster, this means that it posts more comments at once on different blogs.

Slow commenter posts comments one by one.. it takes more time.
Slow commenter - accurate mode is new feautre of SB. Its very more accurate in posting comments on BlogEngine type blogs. Its 90% more efficient then old "slow commenter"

You cant use Fast poster to post on BlogEngine blogs.

Slow commenter accurate mode ROCKS ... just had a %93 success rate out of 1200+ posts...throttling this power is almost impossible! hehehehehe

Be careful to structure your linkbuilding ... looks like most other commenters are just blasting away like shooting fish in a barrel. I prefer the "Pick the best ones off" with a sniper rifle approach.

Then again, I just got a music related domain and 4 matching infos and I think I'll just shotgun the hell out of the infos ...

can u please look into this a bit?

A 404 means page not found, so it's a safe bet Google, YouTube, Yahoo, Amazon isn't offline and i can't replicate any 404 with the keyword scraper. What keywords are you using, another language or something?

Ive been seeing these types of alerts as well. I normally see them when Im checking my links after I finish commenting. The question is... Should I move Scrapebox to a dedicated PC so if I do get a virus it doesnt bring down my main PC? Id rather loose a PC that is just used for scrapbox so the rebuild is less painful. Any thoughts?????

I just recovered from 2 crashes, But I think I figured it out (and it may have been posted on this HUGE ass thread somwhere) ... after each crash I noticed it was crashing on the same url ... opened the urls list, counted down and found a link that ended in a .pdf file.

Removed that link and WHAM ... runs fine now.

Just a heads up.

BTW, Ive gotten that same type of warning in the above posts with AVG (NM, not the same!!!!) but similar and there was no webattacker ... I turned off the link scanner and web shield and I dont see it anymore... mine was always a goog*e url, so I wasnt to worried that google was trying to infect me (or should I be paranoid?)

put the url in your blacklist so that it wont be searched again next time. I haven't yet encountered viruses using scrapebox but using xrumer, it happened many times but it is being blocked by my av

Yep, keep crashing for me too. Get about 100 posts done and it crashes.
