There is a small bug in the software.

In the URL's Harvested box, when i right click and click "Paste from Clipboard" it only saves 1 URL.
When i copy another URL and paste it in there it overwrites the first URL.
So it only saves 1 URL, while i need to add a few URL's manually from clipboard.

Sweetfunny,

I have a question about the blacklist text file.

Does it automatically reject URLs that are listed on the blacklist or do we have to use the compare thingy to remove any URLs harvested that match the ones in the blacklist?

Thanks,

Kudlit

If there is any URL's in the blacklist, these will be ignored when harvesting so they will never appear in the harvested box. Also when commenting, same again they will be discarded and it's impossible to comment on them.

This is all 100% automatic.

Is a fix for my crash problem on the way :) ? I am using Vista, already tried to change compatibility to xp but no luck.

There has been no other crash during the update to that version, maybe the download corrupted or something. Have you tried to download manually, or tried manually extracting the zip and running it?

Hi sweetfunny,

Is it possible to have a feature in the scrapper to scrape all the blog posts of a particular website. It will be a great help.

Just in case you don't understand what i am trying to explain is: suppose i scrape 1000 urls. Now each of these 1000 different urls will have 50 posts. So any way to scrape those 50 blogpost urls from the 1st website out of 1000 i have scraped ?

Not real sure i understand. So you want to get 50 URL's from a site? If so just put this in the custom footprint:

Code:
site:www.website.com

Then set the results to 50, and have Wordpress footprint also ticked and you will get 50 blog posts from that site.

What you guys do in order not to have dupplicates comments?
How do you remove or save the urls that you already commented on?

Am having a hard time with this issue. am just creating a bunch of notepads with the "success sites" but I don't know if they are dupplicates or already comments posted?

Please help! Thanks.

When you are finished commenting, select "Export" and choose "All Valid Entries" and this will save them to a file.

Then when you harvest more, click "Select the URL List to Compare" and compare your freshly harvested URL's with your old list. If there is any you have commented on before, they will be removed leaving you with only unique URL's to comment on.

Only thing I would like now is for keyboard copy and paste shortcuts to work in the boxes. It's annoying have to right click > select all.

Virtually 100% of the application is all buttons you click with a mouse, i think using to the keyboard to just copy/paste when the thing is mouse driven would be annoying. However noted.

When i copy another URL and paste it in there it overwrites the first URL.
So it only saves 1 URL, while i need to add a few URL's manually from clipboard.

Are you sure? I can paste a list of URL's from the clipboard to the harvester box, and if i paste another the first list is replaced with the second which is the correct behavior.

Just wanted to add to what others said, I purchased ScrapeBox and about 10 mins later it was validated and activated! :)

Great software, and sooooo awesome to have a programmer that CARES what people want in the software and updates it with user suggestions and general things to make it even better! :)

Looks interesting. How are the results after running this software?

Does it take a while to see or is it evident rather quickly?

If you read all 24 pages of this thread (like I did after I purchased) then you'll see a number of success posts. For me I've been scraping and posting every couple days and I'm seeing my backlink in yahoo site explorer rising already.

I attached a screenshot showing my success, but I guess if you don't have the program then you don't really understand it, so here it is again, with an explanation:
Picture 3 11-01-45.png

I searched for a keyword, and fetched ~2200 [Unique URL] wp blog results. (Normally it is much more, but I did not have proxies at that time)
I ran the commenter on these blogs, and about 80% were successful.
12 hours later, I ran the "link check", and the "link check" picked up that 468 of the 2200 urls already had my backlink on them. That means over 25% of the posts were up within 12 hours, and I am going to run another link check in 4 days to see the total. (after the moderators accept/do not accept, also a delay is because of the holidays)

Hope that helps to show you that it really does work, and works great!

Yes that's what it does.
However, i don't paste a full list because i have to add each URL manually (clicking links and switch tabs in browser).
Yes i can copy paste all the URL's to notepad first and then paste these as group in the harvester box i guess.
I did not test that, as it is kinda double work.

@all: this is a super noob question...

how do you install SB on a server??? what requirements does it need??

The action a clipboard paste does is a "replace", not an "add to" so it's not a bug it's working as intended which just happens to be the opposite way to whatever you are trying to do. Like a light switch, doesn't matter if it's off or on it's going to be the wrong way for someone regardless.

Silly question though, how come you need to paste URL's one by one in to a harvester box that you can populate with a million URL's at the click of a button?

All you do is run it, there's no "install" process needed for ScrapeBox. Also chances are your server will run it fine and you won't need to install/configure anything.

how can i tell if i am banned on akmist??

i am also not seeing a good success rate on my comments i have posted 12K and ran the check links a week later and see only 250 successful comments?

i know my success rate would be lower because i am using keywords as names but still that is really low right?

How often are you guys changing the comments?

Ten comments per 50 blogs? 20 per 50? Just wondering if this helps increase your success for approved comments or lowers it.

Killer results there. I can't see the image and I really want to. Thanks for sharing.

will it run on a linux hosting?

Not unless it's recoded from scratch as a PHP or CGI script, so no sorry it's a PC application built for the Windows environment.

That's "very" low, did you successfully post to 12k or was the that original list size? Are you using free/private proxies?

I quickly threw a comment run together about 4-5 hours ago while testing something, and the stats for it are somewhat similar to Physaux's results he just posted.

Original list size 1,000 URL's, success 81% (fast poster done only) and this is the link checker:

35ivuhx.png

So 176 live links showing after 5 hours with 813 successful comments, which is roughly 20% stuck and will of course rise after more blogs approve the comment.

Even if worst case scenario happens and no more links get approved, it's still 176 links in 75 seconds which would have to be one of the fastest ways/tools to get links i've personally ever used.

I normally just do half dozen comments, but use a lot of spin and when i say a lot i mean:

{Hi|Hello|Good Morning|Good Evening|Hiya|How are you}

Numerous variations per word, so if you have several words in the sentence spun and each spun word also has several variations do the math the number of unique combinations is staggering.

v1.9.30 Uploaded

* Added Copy/Replace and Copy/Add To the harvester list box context menu
* Added Ctrl+A, V, C ability in keyword and proxy boxes
* Added Create Desktop Shortcut
* Several other tweaks and enhancements

well this is how i do it every week i spam about 6K comments and it says that out of 6K i successfully posted to about 3K of them but when i run the link check it only shows 175 for each batch of 6K i did the first time i did the 6K blast i got about 300-400 backlinks maybe more but in the link check only shows 175 of my links on those pages. I have found that a lot of the links come from a few blogs that have the recent comments on their blogs where i get like 7 backlinks for the same blog.

When i combined my 2 blasts intot one text file so i can compare easier and check links easier but when i do the check the total links on the 12K comments i see only 249 successful links.

I am using the proxy scraper in the program to harvest and post my comments.

Have you seen the video that went up today on proxies, showing a comment run with free and private proxies to the same test sample of blogs?

Massive difference, they are not even in the same ballpark.

However even with totally horrible results like yours, a 12k run takes about 15-20 minutes and you got 249 approved links. Lots of people would be thrilled getting a few hundred links in less than half hour with a tool minimized to the system tray while they ate lunch.

But if you want to keep using free proxies, and also want higher success rates about all i can suggest is manually go out and try to find some that are a higher quality and less heavily used.

so how many private proxies would i need in order to run this program to its full potential?
Also why does it matter if the posts come from private or free proxies? either way the program says that the comments had been successfully posted?
i would have thought out of 12K blogs i would get at least 2K links out of the blast.

This is explained in the video, but to answer it again in terms of performance it does not really matter. If ScrapeBox has a reliable and fast connection, it will work great but if it's free proxies where every second request times out or 404's then it won't work as good.

either way the program says that the comments had been successfully posted?

What you have got to understand, just because it was successfully posted does not mean the blog owner will approve it. You said there was 6k success, and you only got ~250 links approved.

This indicates a failure in your method not in the tool, you're obviously not constructing comments good enough for anyone to approve. Sounds like your hitting links on auto-approve blogs with those numbers, but anything a human looks at is getting trashed canned.

Also why does it matter if the posts come from private or free proxies?

One word, volume. The more successfully posted to blogs in a run equals more opportunity to gain links.

I love SB - but - where can i get good proxies - I dont mind paying, but I can confirm that if you use packetflip for posting you will be banned - the owner is on this forum and I asked the question direct! Most of the commercial proxies i have seen impose a bandwidth limit. anyone? Thx
