I also have a Q on the scraper is somebody can help:

1. If we scrape for example: 'vitamins' and 'vitamins and minerals' and 'vitamins for hair'

Does this mean that all results with 'vitamins' will be repeated when we scrape 'vitamins and minerals' ?? or are these then mostly new results, otherwise i think it would be a big waste of time and resource if you imagine a big KW list and all starting with 'vitamins' as first word but basically we scrape the same results over and over again..

2. when we have our harvested blogs there are many duplicate domains that appear with several blog entries. Is it wise to hit the 'remove duplicate domains' button?? Otherwise we will be commenting multiple times on the same domain... On the other hand we may remove the high pr blog posts with this action, and leave the zero PR blog to comment on, surely not what we want. Yes, i know we can check on pr first but its a pain in the butt to check 3000 urls for PR and takes the whole day..

Thanks

Yes, the commenter also uses proxies and will rotate them, however your success rate will be very bad with the free proxies as their responsiveness sux and that does not work well with sbox as i found out. Using proxies is good for harvesting a lot and pr checking. If you are commenting you may want to use your real ip and then after 1000 or so comments, reset your internet connection to have a new dynamic ip assigned.. Another option is to buy 1 exclusive proxy from packetflip and comment with that, they are very fast proxies.

On this forum you can find a tool in the DL section: "proxy finder" that will get you 6000 or so proxies, then you can feed that list into sbox for checking..

Thanks for the quick response and the advice.

just harvested 30,423 links when i loaded the list inside comment poster only 2,223 load up to post to, DO I have settings I need to change? I seen my other 3 post about this got lost in the thread

i think sweet is busy, maybe with thanksgiving or weekend..

However, when you harvest your blogs, do you press any buttons, like "remove duplicate urls' or 'remove duplicate domains' ?? after harvesting why dont you export your list first to .txt so you wont lose any urls? I cannot check right now on my side as i am commenting a ton right now but will check later when its through..

I always remove duplicate domains....i have never had duplicate urls, so i dont bother pushing the button. I just harvest, remove duplicate domains, then blast the comments out....

I am not sure when you say this: "after harvesting why dont you export your list first to .txt so you wont lose any urls?"

Not sure what you're asking there, but I always export my harvested list

Look, if you are harvesting from G,Y,B,A at the same time for the same KW's then you will ALWAYS have duplicate urls. The other thing is that you have multiple blog posts sitting on one domain, and when you hit the 'remove duplicate domains' button you will only keep ONE of these urls in your list. This maybe good or bad, i am not sure myself.

Good: If you comment only on one from same domain, less likely to be identifed as spam..however varying name, email, proxy, comment will help greatly, so maybe its safe to comment on all blogs from same domain..

Bad: The blogs you purged may have been high PR blogs

I could be wrong, but I am sure the program already dumps duplicate URLs. I will check it out once I am done running my current job.

I don't see what is wrong with dumping duplicate domains - your "bad" reasoning makes no sense. On the flip side of your 'bad' reasoning, you could say it the blogs you purged may have had no PR and the ones left over had good PR.

The way I see it, if you do not remove duplicate domains, you are going to have a better chance at getting your comment nailed as spam. Do whatever floats your boat.

1. It collects what Google returns, if you go to Google and search "vitamins" then search "vitamins and minerals" you will see the results aren't exactly the same. Some sites will rank both terms, some just one term. You can also use advanced search operators in the harvester like intitle: or inurl: etc to mix things up along with timeline searches etc.

2. If you are blasting just one domain to a list of blogs or using no proxy, it's best to remove dupe domains. If you have all files loaded up with many variations randomly rotating and using proxies, sure just hit them all.

As for one blog post have PR1 and another having PR3 on a blog and worrying about cleaning the list of dupes then i really wouldn't worry. Both URL's are on the same domain, the PR data is stale so the PR1 may be a PR4 next update and the PR3 dropped to PR0 because it's buried many clicks from the homepage.

Link checker is showing status as "Not Found" for all harvested movie keywords....what might be the problem??

The link checker doesn't check keywords, it checks links. Did you load a keyword list in to it?

I am used to using another scraper that was good until I found this. I figured I would harvest a few thousand and let her rip. Anyway I loaded it up and the damn thing is already over 160k and still scraping away like a trooper.

I don't want to box my affiliate and get kicked out of the program. I am using shorturl*com will they take the hit and shield my aff from the sand?

Yes the scraper goes good now, i've had it up to 6 figures of URL's with a huge keyword and proxy list.

With your short URL, if your going: Spam Links > TinyURL > Affiliate Company then there's no problems with Google. If the TinyURL is pointing at your site, then Google passes virtually no benefit through the link this has been discussed around the SEO circles before.

For example if you check the example link on the TinyURL homepage, it points to an Ebay page and this Ebay page is PR0 despite being on the TinyURL homepage for a very long time.

So i suggest you don't drive links to your site through a TinyURL link you will lose the benefits.

VinnyChase, where do i begin.. In your 4 or 5 posts there's about 50 questions and problems with almost every feature the tool has. First up have you read the documents?

What out of all the above have you not worked out yet? Your domains "disappearing" i don't see how this could happen without manual intervention of some sort. Have you added domain to the backlist.txt file? This will remove domains, so you don't wind up spamming Matt Cutts blog or something silly like that.

Also the best and fastest way to get support is this. With an exchange of screenshots and your data files so i can see what's going on, every one of your problems would likely be fixed very easily. About 80-90% of problems are a result of loading wrong/corrupt/malformed files, and in the case of a tool bug it's fixed same day and often with the hour. Several times i've even sent special builds to people to try and solve one off problems only effecting their machine. There's not much that cannot be fixed.

i think sweet is busy, maybe with thanksgiving or weekend..

What's these "weekends" you speak of? :D

It maybe something I am doing, That is what i am trying to find out. Scrapebox is working good i am just having a few problems that hopefully we can figure out what I may be doing wrong.

I have not meant that the links are just up and disappearing, What I am trying to say is I have just did another test and got like 30,000 links harvest, After i got that list i then removed dupes and dupe domains, That leaves me with a list of say 10,000 then i save the list of 10,000 as a text file. Nothing wrong with this part

The problem i am having and just checking to see if anyone else is having this or I may have a setting wrong or something is that When I import that 10,000 list to the comment section that I have just saved only about 1,200 or 2,000 links show up and the program tries to post to that and was wondering where are the other 8,000 or so url's.

I am happy with the 1,200 but i see a lot of people saying they are posting 50,000 links or so and wonder if I am doing something wrong. I even bought proxies from packetflip and proxies are working good. I am getting good list and I seem to be harvesting a lot.

Thanks for listening our suggestions. Blogengine commenter rocks. THanks for that.

Second big request :

joomla + drupal comment support (later membership support) + decaptcher.com support for bypassing captchas

Sweetfunny!

I'm curious to know if you have any surprises or ideas for future updates? I'm talking about any updates what-so-ever. This tool just keeps growing and it has been so much fun playing/learning with it. I think I'm starting to get addicted! I might need an intervention soon!

Also, I was wondering if there were some "secret" words we might be able to enter into the custom box to maybe pull up blogengine blogs that haven't been hit 100 times already? haha I doubt there are but hey it doesn't hurt to ask.

Anyways, this program rocks! Keep up the good work

That's certainly odd, nobody has reported anything remotely like this. Do you have extra domains added to your Blacklist.txt?

When you import the list, are you sure your importing the one with 10,000 URL's and not another one named similar?

When you import the file and start commenting, are the numbers on the main interface correct? For example the 0/10,000 display?

What happens when you finish fast posting to the URL's that are listed, do you get the slow poster option? Also just out of curiosity, how much RAM does your machine have?

All i will say to that, is stop putting ideas in my head because believe me i've thought about Joomla, Drupal as well as Mambo more than once.

An intervention lol, glad you love it. :)

BlogEngine, yeah great platform with plenty of instant approval ******** links.. Some guy on another forum is doing alot of comment services for $xxx so he's hit many, but yesterday ScrapeBox got the ability to break the BlogEngine 'invisible captcha' where the comment form buttons are dynamically generated using the date/time. So ScrapeBox should now hit more targets that others miss.

Also yesterday ScrapeBox 'got taught' to tick the CommentLuv button on Wordpress, so if that's present you will now get 2 backlinks instead of one with that.

Just bought a copy of this. Waiting to get my key, will post a review after I use it.

G00B3R

Thanks G00B3R, you should be approved and ready to go. Let me know if you have any probs. :)

I never messed with the blacklist. I just checked it for the first time and see there are 4 links in there i assume those are the four that are preset like mattcutts, seobook, etc

When you import the list, are you sure your importing the one with 10,000 URL's and not another one named similar?
It has the be the file. I delete all other url files i made and name it as todays date example 11-27-10000urls, the only file I have. Then when I import that is the only file I see

When you import the file and start commenting, are the numbers on the main interface correct? For example the 0/10,000 display?
After i import the file to the comment section the status area stays blank till I start posting. Then when i hit start posting comments, it runs fine then the status box fills saying xx/2321 out of the 10,000 url's (I do not understand what happened to the other 8,000) After full run i get 175 success and then it says it found 500 or so it can try to post to at a slower speed, that is a total of about 675. After posting at a slower speed i get about 100 success out of the 500

That is the reason why i think i must be doing something wrong when i see people on here saying they are posting thousands every run

What happens when you finish fast posting to the URL's that are listed, do you get the slow poster option? Also just out of curiosity, how much RAM does your machine have?
I run Vista 64, quadcore dual sli 9800 nvida gforce with 8 gigs of ram

The problem I had when i first started using this program was my network and routers but I am on a direct line now. I also bought a list of proxies that run fast and test good with every test. I have no more problem of harvesting. Just problem with page rank checker and full list not showing up. Want to make sure it is not something on my end like my network fiasco.

:D Unbelievable product and support. I have several products that I use to automate backlink building and this one just plain works and is soo cheap considering what the product does and does everything well. Everytime I have asked for help, and I have asked alot, support has helped me out within the day always and most of the time within the hour, I can't believe it! The other thing that makes me think this guy has nothing better to do than to cater to my needs, or perhaps has nothing better to do, is there literally 2-4 updates per week that are truly valuable. I am fairly new to this whole thing and nothing has been easier or more effective than this tool for me so far. I love the updates, I love the product, I love the outcomes...GREAT TOOL!!! Charge more...but not me. Thanks for all your help and hard work.

Ok i'm sure this has been answered but I cant find it

What is the format for using proxies with a password?

I've purchased a copy as well, I can't wait to try it!

Initially i was going to chalk this up to one of those freaks of nature, that only happens to one person.. Frequently known as a user error, 'but' now i'm not so sure one other person mentioned the same thing today by email so i think it just might be a bug that only happens under rare circumstances.

Does it happen every time? If it does, then that possibly eliminates strange characters in the URL at line 2,322 making ScrapeBox think it's the end of the list.

Can you try making a unique folder and copy scrapebox.exe in it for example /scrapebox123/scrapebox.exe all on it's own and do not have any other file or folder in there with it. Run a harvest, transfer the URL's and see if any vanish. This will eliminate several things.

Thank you very much! It's always excellent to hear things like that since my #1 goal is to have a product that everyone is 110% happy with.
