Hey @loopline, thanks for the reply. Would you mind letting me know what you mean by "It doesn't do the same that it did years ago"?
Also, to respond to your question "work" means getting urls indexed. Thanks.
So years ago links were more uniform in value. Meaning an indexer link or a link on CNN were both worth a decent bit. So indexer links would give you a decent bit of "link juice" and thus help index and rank your site.
Now days they are very light weight, they don't really offer much link juice if you will, but they do offer a link with a little juice and a easy way for the search engines to crawl over.
Personally I think using like fast poster and building some links is better, then rapid indexer because you get more link juice and google can still see it. My 2 cents, but I really dont' work hard on indexing things, if you do a good job on your SEO indexing is just going to happen, at least that works for my approach.
Ok now I'm trying to use Scrapebox Sitemap Scraper, and it definitely got problem with proxies.
If I use private proxies, it always say Not a sitemap and if I check Ignore missing <?xml tag it gives 0 results to all urls.
If I use normal unauthorised proxies, it goes fine.
Perhaps the private proxies are altering the request in some way. Because if the data handed back to scrapebox is the same then its going to give you the same result. So something is causing different data to be handed back to scrapebox. Quite probabaly its just something with the proxies.
