The delay is on default "1". Didn't change any settings after updating.

The settings page is on 15 threads same as 2.0.0.92. But no matter what it's locked to 1 thread.

When delay is >0, it will have to switch to 1 thread. Set it to 0.

Locking the Indexer to 1 thread is/was a horrible idea, not sure why you would do that. I've tried adjusting the settings, doesn't work. Set "min. threads" in the Indexer, doesn't work. It's locked to 1 thread, which is totally unrealistic when checking more than... 10(?) links? I've been using 15 threads on 2.0.0.92 and it's been working fine. Please unlock this setting... Had to roll back to the previous version.
As noted above, its just due to the delay. In basically every function, (in fact I think it is 100%) of functions in scrapebox when there is a delay, the connection will default to 1 regardless of what its set at. Its actually always been this way (to my knowledge)

Anyway, just turn off the delay and it will work fine.

I don't have a paypal account, as it was locked. is there anyway i can pay you directly with a debit card for a copy of scrapebox? thanks

This works -- but it does seem like Google has changed the way the info: command works. Even if your proxies aren't banned by Google, they still get banned from using the info: command quite quickly. I tried to check indexing on a list of 3000 URLs, with only 10 threads... and they got banned at about 50% way through.

Do you know of any available proxies that could get passed this? It's a bit tricky because all of the services saying "Google passed proxies" wouldn't work -- as they're only Google-search passed, not "Index-check passed". It's definitely more than just a changing something on their UX / needing to change SB code. It seems they've separated the info: command with other Google searches.

That happend years ago. In fact I posted a video about it 5 years ago

This is nothing new but I also have a video on how to safely scrape google and the same applies to index checking. In fact there are many different levels, its not just the info: operator.

If you are using 10 threads you should probably have at least 500 or more like 1000 proxies that are info operator passed. Else your going way too fast. You might do ok working in small batches, getting most of your proxies burned and then waiting 48 hours to unblocked, but better to just go slow.

Its not about the proxies or SB code. Google bans ips indescrimanantly. I guess thats untrue, they do actually ban some IPs even faster, based on all sorts of things they don't disclose like how many times in the past the ip has been banned and the search query type and the ip block etc..

Anyway, here are a few videos. The first is the differece video I talked about above. You already know it, but just posting it for the sake of if you want more info or 5 year ago proof or others that may read this.

The 2nd is a custom test video that tells you how you can build a test for proxies to see if they are info: operator passed.

The last is the concept on how to safely scrape google, its service etc... this includes the concept of index checking.

Lastly this change is nothing relevant to the change in code that broke scrapebox, google has banned like this for years, as the 2012 video shows. At any rate, this most recent change was really just formatting.

Mate you can say that all you want, but until last month I was able to index check thousands of links without my proxies getting banned from index checking (been using SB for many, many years). Scraping they would get banned (especially with advanced modifiers such as in your video) -- but index checking they would not.

Google is clearly targeting automated scrapers / spammers with these recent updates:

1) Index checking proxies get banned dramatically faster now. "info:" command is on a completely separate system than regular search proxies when testing if they are/are not banned.

2) Translate API is now completely separate from Google search testing. Meaning that translation API proxies get banned faster, in the same way that "info:" command proxies get banned faster now.

It I will get more and/or better proxies to deal with these changes. Thanks for your help though!

The last update of adding load urls from file directly in grab - meta info caused files being locked - they cannot be deleted untill we close all addons and also scrapebox instance.

Thanks for reporting it. It was already fixed and will be in the next update.

Quick question with the keyword rank checker premium plugin. Is there anyway to track rankings from a specific location (for local SEO)? I tried using proxies in the same city as my clients, but the results are still different. We are ranking #5 when you search for "plumbing chicago, il", but Scrapebox says we're page 3

Is it only me or there are some issues with scraping Yahoo? I've tried it on 3 instances, with various proxy providers and for the past day or two, the Yahoo doesn't even budget. No errors, no scrapes, just zeros. Is it me or is there some issue? Thanks.

Hi, I cant create my own thread right after registration so I hope this will do the trick.

Long story short Iam starting linkbuilder. My job right now is mostly manual creating of comments in relevant discussions. However I spend too much time to find new relevant discussions lately. I hoped that scrapebox would help me to solve this issue but I have a trouble making it working the way I want. I just cant find a good how to manual. Lot of them is either too simple, too complicated or too outdated. Can you point me to some sources where I can learn more about scrape box and skills and knowledge necessary to use it? I just dont really know how to dive in.

What I need to create is to scrape for relevant forum discussions on my topic so I have long list of sites where I can just register and comment without loosing too many time to find those sites. I made some experiments with scrapebox already. I was able to scrape for lot of forums by footprints like intext:"powered by vBulletin" but when paired with keywords Iam looking for it creates just a heap of garbage. Results are in all possible languages, lots of nonsence that has nothing to do with what I was looking for etc. Usually only one in fifteen or so results is usable for me so it takes me much more time then just google for discussions.

Can you tell me some tips about what should I be looking for to learn to create the list I need? I need to be able to get the list of sites in specific languages and on specific topics, preferable high raking sites. I expect that I need to learn how to build much better footprints and how to filter the raw scrape but I dont know how. I was looking for some tips already on this forum and my problem is that it is usually written in short and expectation you know what you are looking for. Mostly too advanced for me to digest yet.

Gonna be glad for any advice. Thanks. :)
