Will do, as for the link chekcer, I asume I will have to wait a few days before checking these links as most blogs are not on auto approve ?

Well you can do the test right away that's actually the most accurate way if you want to compare the ability to hit blogs successfully between two tools/methods. If you wait, variables get thrown in such as comments not getting approved equally if one was spammier then the other.

However if you simply want to post and get backlinks, i check instantly and export the "Found" URL's in the link checker just to compile my own master list of auto approved blogs over time. Then i check the list i posted to again in 7-14 days.

This is the new domain i mentioned a few pages back, i done 3 or 4 decent blasts to it when tuning ScrapeBox. The domain is 19 days, but the 5,000 links were obtained in about 3 days.

[Features Request]:

1. Can we split urls into groups based on each keyword or keyword groups
2. Can we reorder the structure of query string? I see in scrapebox you use this order: "harvester + keyword", but sometime I need "keyword + harvester" and "harvesterKeyword" (not "harvester + keyword")

That's incredible. Do you ping all those links in order for them to get found that fast?

Just did this and did found some links on auto approve blog. That said when checking those links on auto approve, it seemed like I was not the only one, most of them had 100 to even 1600 post/links on them.

To me it seems like I don't know if I want to pint those auto approve blogs. Better wait 7 days to check the other blogs and ping those.

Can you explain what you mean a bit more?

Do you mean putting 2 keywords in for harvesting, then the URL's for each keyword are separated in the harvester?

If so then no not really, the best way is simply search keywords in related batches.

Ahh why? What searches are you trying to do, can you give me some examples of why you would want to do this?

I done a couple of comment blasts on the domain, and a few runs of referrer spam with the PRStorm Mode. Although i don't really recommend getting a brand new domain and nailing it with 5k links in the first 3 days, i bought the domain specifically to test settings while tuning ScrapeBox.

bbob1970 - With those domains you can put them in the blacklist file and never post to them again.

do you think it has something to do with running scrapebox on windows server 2003?

I am going to PM you a special build to see if it fixes the url encoding problem on Win Server 2003.. I have no way of testing this so let me know if it works.

i tested the special build you pmed me and everything seems to be in order now. thanks very much!

sooner or later there will be more people using scrapebox on their vps/dedicated servers so i'd be happy to assist you in testing in windows 2003 server.

Excellent thanks for testing on Win2003 Server, good news. Now it's confirmed working i've pushed out v1.4.7 to the regular ScrapeBox updates, plus also added some exclusions for certain captchas triggering a pop-up on the second browser poster (this wasn't in the build i sent you, so just re-download if you would like).

But certainly, if you encounter any more quirks on Win2003 Server just let me know.. I don't foresee any more problems, ScrapeBox is fully self-contained with no dependencies so should run on almost anything probably even Windows 3.1 :)

i'm still having problems with search strings not returning results even if it has thousands when typed directly at google.

i assume this has something to do with urlencode as you have pointed out earlier.

an example is

inurl:/keyword/ "powered by wordpress" "name (required)" "mail (will not be published) (required)"

i'm guessing that the search string is ruined somehow by scrapebox so i'm not getting results. maybe you could take a look and allow special characters like ",/* etc.,

lets not forget that successful use of this tool depends on our ability to harvest relevant targets. so i hope you dont mind my suggestions to improve your already powerful scraper. :)

Sorry, please download again. When your "*" issue was fixed it threw back a strange problem which effected everyone.

Ahh freaking hell, who would of though a simple freaking asterix would cause so many headaches.

v1.4.8 Uploaded and pushed out to the built in updater. If it doesn't work this time, it's getting tossed out the freaking window and someone walking on the street will be hit by a ScrapeBox lol.

no urls harvested by google. first pic no proxy, second with proxy.

i tried google, yahoo, bing, with proxies still no result for google

then like magic, same settings i hit start harvesting google has 100 urls harvested.

clearly you haven't quite squashed the bug yet.

i'm sorry.

This server your trying to run ScrapeBox on, are you sure it's not cacheing DNS/Page lookups and sending me round in circles?

Because the code you have now, is "identical" to what i sent you via PM that you told me worked there's not one line different.

Edit: Sent you yet another special build via PM, it will throw up a box with the exact errors from 404/403 etc and a few others which will tell me what's happening.

Hardly harvesting anything after upgrading just now, and out of 400 moveable type comments, all 400 failed and no option popped up to do the browser posting instead?

Just purchased the software and looking forward to trying it out. Sending you a PM Sweetfunny

Thanks!

how will this help rookies like me and new domains, are there any manuals or videos to show you the scrapebox's full potential

Alright Sweetfunny,
I took your advice and purchased a copy. Hopefully this helps me with the PR dilemma I was having earlier.
Thanks in advance.

Is it recommended to add links directly to your money site in the comments? Or to link to a buffer site, like one of the properties in a link wheel instead?
