@se900se , please respond on Slack.

There is a violation issue on your account, your payment is at risk. I have responded to Slack and provided with the contact of the person who investigates your case. Please provide all info requested in the email.

Hi! I've submitted a few more sites a few weeks ago, and I didn't get any response yet. The first site I submitted went through a lot faster.

Has anyone already received a payment from Hooligan Media?
After 4 months of waiting they block our payments saying 95% of traffic is invalid when 99% of traffic is organic. I hope is just a misunderstanding on their end, I just don`t want to believe I waste 4 months and more than 7000 USD in earnings.

I advise anyone to hold until they come with a verdict for our account because in less than 72h we will open a shitlist against them if this bad joke is real.

Sad, really sad, the OP was one of a few which I was thinking he knows his field, I just don`t want to lose my respect for him, let's hope all will be sorted soon.

Thank you for inform this. I was creating two websites specially for this ad network. But now I need to reconsider about that. @BassTrackerBoats Need your eyes to this.

It would be nice...if they could inform us earlier about invalid traffic/issue and not when we do withdraw request. The 3-4 months waiting period is long time..only to find out, we won't get paid for some reason. The dashboard is plain..no real data about clicks n all...just wondering, if my site become victim of click bomb...how could I figure out?
Net 60 and all this fuss...scaring me.

I earned about $130 with Hooligan in August and still haven’t received any payment. Any answer @se900se?

As of now, for websites only.

Hi! I've submitted a few more sites a few weeks ago, and I didn't get any response yet. The first site I submitted went through a lot faster.

It all depends on the queue. Let me know your site, I can check the status.

Pls check

For some reason, every link opens in the new window - is it supposed to be like that?

Hello, I could you inform me about my site awell?
I PMed you.

Ok!

I am open to respond to a shit list and provide all information publicly, today, no need to wait for 72 hours. The decision on your payment is not up to me, but our ad partners, if they take a week to respond, then it will take a week for you to receive the answer on the payment, thus, shitlist won't speed up the process for you nor it will get the answer faster from me, as it's not me giving it. Again, I am open and happy to discuss your issue on the open thread with mods involved.

As it's mentioned on BST we are an ad exchange that has own publishers but doesn't have its own advertisers, it's not Hopoligan who's blocking or deducting publisher payments. We receive % from what publishers make, therefore blocked payments also a loss for us. At the moment this is the first and only incident with blocked payment due to invalid traffic activity, we did have deductions before (@Luke22 can confirm, he was a 'victim' of that as well). If there is an issue with your traffic there will be an investigation that can end up is clearing issues away, deduction a portion of your revenue, or blocking it completely, based on the evidence you can provide on your traffic to prove it's not fake, and the final outcome.

To clear some misleading facts:

- You registered with us in August, so even if count today, it won't be 4 months. We pay on NET60, meaning 60 days after the end of the months, so no matter how you count it, it's not 4 months, but 2 months.

- The registered payment for august is not $7,000 like you mentioned, but $740.

I appreciate the advice, however, as of now, you are the only one having an issue with invalid activity on the traffic. There are plenty of other users who are getting paid each month, with higher amounts as well, there is no need to generalize this particular issue for the other publishers. I suggest checking traffic quality and look for a bot filter as it will generate daily traffic reports that you can use for situations like this.

For all others reading this thread:

The payment issue described above is related to invalid traffic activity on the site of the publisher above. Our demand partners didn't release the payment for their domain with the note saying it's invalid. Additionally, the site has prior violations with adult content. At the moment we are trying to help and have collected possible evidence of the traffic origin (we have received the GA report from the publisher) and forwarded it as our response, and waiting on the outcome of the investigation.

While we are not as strict in terms of approvals and we mainly focus on CPM rates, like with the any other ad network - the low quality or bot traffic is still an issue that can get your payments blocked or your site banned. We do not have our own advertisers, we have no final say in payment release, we only distribute those payments that were already released to us by the network.

It would be important to mention that the site that is currently under investigation also belongs to @Veil123, who is also a new mod. I do hope that he will not interfere with the process and will act as a user letting this to be handled by other mods, in case mods have to be involved.

I've been receiving payments from Hooligan since July with no issues whatsoever, @se900se was always reachable as well and always answered any questions that I had

I appreciate your input!

@Jammy0308 has also received multiple payments from us, those who interested can check his journey thread.
We have more users on BHW, but I don't know their names.

If that's a bank payment it takes 1-5 business days for you to receive it.
I'm not sure what your site is, but happy to provide payment details once you share.

Thank you for clarification. So there's no problem with the network? right?

This is an issue of a particular publisher, not Hooligan, we continue to operate the same way.
The particular issue described above is not a problem of a Hooligan media, but of the publisher and his traffic. The buying partner/network didn't release payment with the note of high invalid traffic activity.

All other publisher payments were released and paid. There is no other publisher who was supposed to be paid and wasn't.

If you deal with invalid traffic, or there's an invalid activity on the site, there is a high chance to get problems before getting paid.

I made it so to reduce the bounce rate.

I don't believe it is a good idea, but let's see if you'll get approval.

Does your partners check websites one by one before payments?
