For starters, the fact that you are sighting Google Bowling is unsettling to say the least and the fact that you specifically stated 'new domain' when the point had been behind people's established money making sites.
Now I have to dig a little more deeply (mind you all of this would be unnecessary if you gave a free trial period for people).
1 - Why are you claiming that the software only leaves links in 'shady' places? You say it operates as if it scraped the top 100 urls, then its backlinks through Yahoo! Site explorer. Surely there will be non-shady communities where the software drops a link, if this is how it operates. Is it only targeting a certain CMS, blog, ect? Also, just because a place links to you does not mean that it will harm you.
2 - Google Bowling won't work nowadays. As I said before, it's unsettling for you to cite a 5 year old illegal tactic and claim that it is a risk today. You even posted a link to a 5 year old article, which makes me think that you aren't actually in the business of SEO (which I am and have been for many years) but in the business of writing software (which is ok) I don't really think I need to go further into that.
3 - You specifically mentioned 'new domain' which is key, because these are the sites likely to be penalized by using the software, if they overdue it. As far as penalization, de-indexing probably won't occur, if their site is legit, and the worst they will get is the sandbox. If they are a Spam, malware, virus site then obviously, even without your software, they will get deindexed.
What do I think?
I think that it's a bunch of jargon to protect yourself, e.g. if some n00bs come here with a brand new site that are on page 2 of google looking to get to the first page then find themselves with a 150 keyword ranking (which is needed)
I also think that if the program operates as you say it does, there should be no reason why a legit site can use it (while it would be frowned upon, but um... who do you have to impress?) with discretion.
Which really just gets back to my first question of why would you say a legit site shouldn't use it, because that makes me wonder about the quality of sites that the software can pick up and if it is even worth the $79 a month to begin with. If it scrapes the usual pligg crap, dead blogs, and spammed forums... well.. why even bother with it? I understand it will pick those up as well, but with you saying that legit sites SHOULDNT use it, that makes me think that all of the sites backlinked from are crap or malicious in some way.
Sme good points you are making here and it seems like a big marketing machine.
so basicly the offer for 3000 links $79 is paying for an attempt to make 4000 backlinks in some questionable places.
There is no data about how many links will really stick and always the stories they have no control over it.
The story that they place links in backlinks to the top 100 domains of your keyworkd seem to be false somehow.
This seems like an xrumer serivce where they build a shell around so people can login themselfs and blast away.
As there are some many contradictions in the statements I will stay away.
