PBN Sellers Linked To Each Other

Pretty annoying that sellers are doing this.

So I'm guessing that they are sharing links, or both outsourcing their links from the same place.

Means if you buy two packages then you just wasted half your cash.

I know I'm staying the obvious but....

Hope mods can get to the bottom of it.

Chances are that they are all outsourcing to the same guy. Sharing links would just be dumb

I wouldn't be surprised if some are outsourcing to Fiverr (could explain why a few providers use spun content.. I'll never understand why sellers still spin content on their networks.. just doesn't make sense) which could explain the same domains being used in several reports.

Hope the Mods can crack this down :(

Didn't even think of that, VERY possible given the quality of some.

Yea I was thinking the same thing about Fiverr.

This is just one of many problems in the service section.

1) Almost all links guaranteed to be deindexed within 1 or 2 months...so what is the point of approving and keeping services live when their links do not last more than a couple of months.

2) Service providers who are also allowed to be MODs....conflict of interest anyone? Example - Bigbuddy! MODs should NOT also be service providers.

3) No spot checks of services. Some services who provided a report to MOD 6 months to a year ago are now selling completely different links.

4) Service providers being allowed to repost their orignal sales page to drown out negative reviews and also with 'fake' pics of recent client rankings.

5) Fake positive reviews from 'friends' of the service provider.

6) Service providers begging for their thread to be bumped up via Skype or PM or insisting/demanding you post your Transaction ID on the thread.

7) Once you buy a service on BHW, you start getting 'make easy money now' junk/spam mail with links to god know where.

i wonder if this can be prevented at the beginning if mods have a database sharing among themselves
or as simple as having a shared google sheet and copy some domain list, just few steps
1. trim the links to root
2. remove duplicate
3. some ctrl c + v + f

then when another mod review a pbn sellers, this can be cross checked?

A google sheet with all pbn domains on bhw? Are you working for google?

The idea is quite good, but if this should happen sooner or later then please with a private database that is somehow secure.

Agree. that idea makes me a bit uneasy as well. But something similar needs to be in place. Maybe as @drogon suggested a regular spot check / re-review of service providers would be good and might make it easier for mods to spot these types of issues. Also encouraging people to speak up about issues, this thread being a good example.

As every thread needs to be renewed each year this could be a good event to re-check services. In a shorter time frame it's hard as the mods only have limited time and the marketplace is huge. People should be able to rate sellers after they buy and that many bad reviews might trigger a re-review of a service. This reviews do not have to be public, just that mods get some help to filter out the low quality suppliers here.

That sounds like a decent idea but then we'd need a set up in place where purchases needed to be verified (which will end up being very complicated to do). Otherwise, anyone could just be rating services down/up without purchasing it.

Right, that's a problem. Market regulation always isn't that easy without overcomplicating things. There should be something similar like the Shitlist where people can post (bad) reviews about services. Even if you might already be able to post something like this on the shitlist (I actually don't know) most people only use it if they received no service or got scammed and not if they received really bad services. Maybe even a section that kind of mirrors all marketplace threads but is only for reviews. With all that fancy sales graphics pushing and people asking for discounts and stuff it's not easy to filter out reviews in threads.

For all what I suggested, I don't know how complicated that would be. I don't even know if it would works, just throwing in some random ideas to be discussed.

The Mods should be given more resources to be able to regulate the market place. But that can't happen without more $.

What if certain services went through a BHW payment system? Then reviews can be verified, and if BHW keeps a very small % of the transactions, then it might be enough to fund them with the tools needed to regulate the market place better. This has the downside of some services being a little bit more expensive, but in the long run, the good services would benefit a lot from it since a lot more business would head their way. And there would be less people getting ripped off.

I'm also not sure if I'm happy with the review copy culture of BHW, how often do you see a review copy that isn't positive? You can't differentiate good services to bad services from the reviews.

There's nothing wrong with pointing out something bad with a service. If the seller has good intentions, he will improve on it, and the potential buyers will be more informed

All you can do is test, and obviously the cheaper services are more tempting, and that's how people end up getting something really shitty

A payment system would be really hard to implement I guess. I believe there are tons of regulations going on with this and the workload for bhw employees would increase a lot. Just think of the people that charge their money back. The potential loss would be on the side of BHW if they already paid out the sellers. Another problem is that sellers wouldn't be free in their choice of payment methods. The effort needed to enable payments via PayPal, Credit Card, Bitcoins, Skrill and all the other payment methods used right now is huge. I really like the idea of a black hat world payment service and it could really help to support this platform and it's employees, but it's not that easy I guess.

Some of the providers tagged (who still avoid to comment I guess) have been doing this a lot. Pain in the ass really. Quite important to note that their services are usually shit.

Some of these providers offer Fiverr quality links at 20 times the price.

this ^. A BHW payment system sounds nice on paper but it's going to be very tricky to implement in real life. The BHW staff already have a busy schedule as it is.

I agree with other posters who pointed out the technical difficulty of implementing payments through a BHW custom system. BHW would have to start charging a commission or doing something like Upwork and taking a 22.75% fee, which is going to be super annoying. The entire system would be overbearing and overly restrictive.

Better to be careful with what you buy and use the Shitlist to report any scams or similar problems.

This. I find it more worrying that this is something that seemingly a lot of people were aware of, but no-one seemed willing to bring it up until OP did.

Now I hate to call out names but there is a problem on BHW. Reselling. I know Mods are cracking down on it but..

I bought some PBN links from one seller and a few days later from another. I looked at both reports and some domains are the same in both reports.

When I order on BHW I don't expect the same domains each time I order, I expect variety and uniqueness.

Okay here's just a list of people who I've dealt with (who have given me backlinks on the same domain)

You guys are right, regarding a payment system being too restrictive.

I guess pushing for a culture that welcomes people sharing negative experiences would be for the better.

I also think that the mods should be given more resources
