PBN Sellers Linked To Each Other

This is just one of many problems in the service section.

1) Almost all links guaranteed to be deindexed within 1 or 2 months...so what is the point of approving and keeping services live when their links do not last more than a couple of months.

2) Service providers who are also allowed to be MODs....conflict of interest anyone? Example - Bigbuddy! MODs should NOT also be service providers.

3) No spot checks of services. Some services who provided a report to MOD 6 months to a year ago are now selling completely different links.

4) Service providers being allowed to repost their orignal sales page to drown out negative reviews and also with 'fake' pics of recent client rankings.

5) Fake positive reviews from 'friends' of the service provider.

6) Service providers begging for their thread to be bumped up via Skype or PM or insisting/demanding you post your Transaction ID on the thread.

7) Once you buy a service on BHW, you start getting 'make easy money now' junk/spam mail with links to god know where.

1. We can't predict the future.

2. Nope - Only me, @Apricot and @Wilhelm Squee can do service reviews and have extra marketplace section features on our accounts, and we cannot sell on the marketplace as we work for BHW in house. Other mods can't do anything that you can't do in the marketplace section.

3. We have begun to re-review threads, this is happening.

4. All client rankings have been verified by me when re-reviews and new threads are posted. Reviews also now have to link back to the original post where it came from.

5. We again have cracked down on this, banning 200+ accounts and closing multiple threads which did this.

6. If you see this, report it.

7. If sellers are adding you to their email campaigns then there is not much I can do to stop it.

I was originally not gonna post but imma put out my 2 cent :)
Lately i was looking for quite a few quality copywriting services aswell as social signals
i had to NOT exaggerating at all go through PAGES AND PAGES of "i want coupon" or "sample plz" or "i want review copy" (yes the thread been out likee 12031031 months ago and these ppl still asking for review copies like they are entitled to it). It is quite frustrating as a buyer to spend hours on end just to find 2-3 reviews outta a 50 page thread. (not including the initial reviews copies given out)
Luckily for social signal, i found @Nargil post so i went and bothered him about the service :p
As for copy writing, still looking !
and as for PBNs, yeah, that place is even more of a nightmare to actually find reviews.
I do understand, alot of people MAY not post any reviews at all but they are quite a few people who would post it if they are happy with the service. And for buyers like myself who goes looking around for a good service, reviews from on-going customers are the best judge. Not how good the infographic is, or how impressive the website is. or if the person is a mod, JR VIP or Premium member.
But i only stick to the trusted PBN sellers now (i have done business in the past and deemed great) for extra link juice :)
Others, i use for burn sites since... this shit happens way to much, using fiveer gigs and reselling pbn crap or just simply terrible pbn links.

Same issue here. Changes must be made and soon!

This is the kind of shit that has been going on for a while here.

While there needs to definitely be a solid "marketplace reform", members need to realize that there are very few people running the BST, and that they are working their asses off just to keep up.

Members complain about things like this consistently, and mods ask for more information, and then those same members never send the necessary information to back up their point.

If there were three things I could change about how services works on this site they would be:
  1. Higher monthly fee for a BST thread
  2. Members who receive shit services actually posting in the thread that they received a shit service, and explaining in detail why
  3. People having to publicly respond in a shitlist thread vs being able to bitch out and quietly try and resolve via PM for weeks and weeks
Other than the above, things are slowly being fixed and renovated. Shit, don't you guys remember when @Apricot went in and closed thousands and thousands of threads of people who were selling without paying the annual fee? That was a big step.

But members of this community need to step up, do their own due diligence, not buy services called fuckin' "LADY GAGA GOOGLE RIDER", and report issues they see instead of quietly and anonymously complaining. Threads like these are great, and are a huge step to a higher quality BHW, but we need to all work together, support our moderation team, and assist when possible with issues such as this.

This is first and foremost a community of people sharing information and joining in discussion. It's not Fiverr.

This x1000.

This thread is now 8 pages deep.

Only 1 person has actually sent me information I can use to investigate.

If I might add to this, due diligence is where one can actually cut half the crap. I've been on BHW long enough and in my early days i'd just buy a BST based on the reviews or the sales copy. Needless to say, got burnt and learned a very good lesson.
  1. What I do now is to first have a list of things I need. (I call it my shopping cart list. Without this, its like going to a super market with a full wallet and no idea on what you need. You end up with things or BST's you don't need. So, example: Month 1: PR services, SMM links, PBN's).
  2. Armed with this list, I just keep a lookout for any BST's that come out. In many cases, you can find two or more BST's offering the same thing with a different mix. I just compare the prices and the service they give and at times call out to the other thread and ask why the BST is cheaper/expensive than the other. The BST I like and based on the response I click on 'Watch thread'
  3. Other factors are the age of the BST (some 2013 BST's get bumped in 2017 and its easy to fall prey to these, depending on the service some are irrelevant in this time)
  4. Doing a quick profile check of the seller always helps to see if they have contributed to other parts of BHW and if they did, you can get a fair idea of how well they know their stuff. (There are many BHW sellers who actually know what they are doing and you can find them contributing in their area of expertise)
  5. Ask questions. Ask samples where applicable. In most cases, I was able to weed out rude responses or responses that don't read the query properly. This itself tells a lot. Asking for samples also helps to match expectations. (For example, I know a PR service provider's BST was cheap cos the distribution was not that big and most of the PR links were no follow. Another PR service provider had higher pricing and of course better distribution and more do follow links.)
  6. Follow some people. I have found some BHW members who are quite good when it comes to giving BST reviews and in most cases they are not the discount copy folks. Their reviews at times touches on topics most discount copy reviewers tend not to focus on.
I hope this mess is sorted out, because regardless of whether one was affected by this or not, it certainly leaves a bad taste for every BHW member.

You people are so quick to bitch and throw all the fault/responsibility on the mods, but you won't do shit to help out yourselves. You just create a thread and whine about it, whip up an angry mob, and make yourselves look like victims instead of hitting the report button and/or leaving bad reviews.

Nothing against @whiteblackseo bc I respect him. But some of you are notorious complainers. You jump at the chance to express your dislike of anything regarding this forum. I just read through 8 pages of people who need their diaper changed.

Do your due diligence.
Use common sense.
Report/review shitty services.

None of those are hard to do people. You're always so quick to blame the mods for the state of the marketplace, when part of it is your fault too. How will they know what they need to do if you won't help them out with reports and reviews?

I agree with this. Considering the nature of the service I provide, I am unable to do any kind of "post in the thread and ask for coupon to get it" crap. Not sure how this is still allowed for example. You want to see some reviews in the thread and you have to go through 5 pages of "coupon plz" to even read a decent review from someone with account older than a few days.

Exactly, not all services have this option so it's fairly unfair and also puts sellers who don't do this practice at a disadvantage.

Post for discount/samples should be stopped, it's just annoying and serves no other purpose than to boost the thread. Samples and discounts can easily be posted in the main post. Additional ones can be posted throughout the thread. This would encourage actual discounts.

OP reposting 5000px+ long sales graphic over and over in the threads. I haven't got Alzheimer's yet so I do remember what thread I opened. I especially don't want to see the same review copy reviews from 2014 on every page or because someone posted a poor review.

Spot checks on sellers should be a thing. I know it's intensive but I'm pretty certain the quality a lot of sellers here provides drops off massively after the initial review.

  • Moderators typically don't touch their own BST threads to keep the peanut gallery quiet. @t0mmy in particular doesn't ever moderate his own threads. This is something I can confirm as I've viewed the reports he's sent in.

Thanks for speaking up there on my behalf Z, I just seen this thread now as I'm in Thailand on Holidays hanging out with rock stars like @MrE and Matthew Woodward later tonight I think ... to be honest guys I barely get any traffic from BHW now days, it makes up for maybe 5% of my overall traffic. However as Z has rightfully pointed out, I do NOT touch my own threads.. if there is a problem I report it for one of my fellow staff members to deal with. I'm not BigBuddy.. I have morals and standards I stand by!!

I'm closing the thread for now.

I have 3 reports from 2 sellers, that's it.

We have lots of accusations and no proof, if you have reports you would like to send me please PM me. Everything will stay anoymous, we're also going to dig out the reports they provided during the mod reviews to see if those show anything fishy.

If you have more reports and want to help, PM me download links.

I'll begin investigating this in a couple of hours.
