Background ......

Hi guys I am from India and I have a Indian paypal account and few months back my sister went to America for 6 months to visit her husband and she opened a usa paypal account with meta bank account and card number ( meta bank is temporary bank account or something ) and when she returned back I asked her paypal info and used it to get payments in her usa paypal account to spend the money to buy stuff online since with indian paypal account u cannot use the paypal balance and I do not have a credit card. One day I disputed a charge on her usa account as a buyer and I got the money back but paypal caught me since I was using a usa paypal account from India and now I have to confirm when ever I am logging in her usa paypal account that I am travelling to India and all the transactions made from India are mine before I can continue. The address which is linked to my sisters paypal account was my her husbands work address but now he has left that job and moved to a different state for a different work.

Problem.....

Few days back I soled virtual stuff worth 5000$ and got the payment in my sisters paypal account and I then transferred the amount to my indian paypal account and then to my bank account. By the way my Indian paypal account has my bank account and debit card linked. I also access both my sisters account and my account from the same IP address. Now yesterday I see a negative balance on my sisters account of -5000$ and got an email at my sisters email id ( I have the password for it ) that the buyer said its a fraud case. My sister is back in India and her husband now work somewhere else in America and the meta bank and card linked with the account has 0$ Balance. Now my question is can paypal do something about it if i do not pay that negative balance. I knw paypal will not help me as It will side with the buyer and moreover paypal does not cover digital material. So can paypal can do something to my Indian Account or something?

you should have used usa proxies before logging into an us account from India

Dang man... You may be in trouble, paypal is really bad with this stuff, but try to make your case with screenshots etc. How are ebooks worth 5000$....

ROFLMAOOOOOOOO YOU MADE A $5K SALE? With just ebooks? Sir, you are a God. From other threads, some say they will send a debt collector others say no. Seeing as it's a US PP they'll probably follow up on it.

debt collector? I think they'll just pull the money out of any connected accounts, and if they can't do that they will file charges.

I doubt they will file charges... PP does not do that for publicity reasons.

They may not do anything at all... that would be my bet but like the guy above said "5K in eBooks!"

WOWSER!

You are the man!

There is NO chance they won't do anything, for sure they will try to get their money.

Should of used than money to invest in a good US VPN.

You'd be surprised how many people are willing to pay for a " super secret private 133t $5000/month method working only 1 hour/day" for "only $14.99".

5K, you kidding?

That is Nothing... I know a guy that did 250K in fraud with PP and they did nothing. They would not cooperate with the authorities in the USA as they did not want the publicity.

There is a 99.9% chance they will do nothing at all.

Link me to that... I doubt promoting paypal fraud is a good idea.

It is a TERRIBLE idea!

And I would never promote it; this guy that did the 250K is only about 21 and spent a couple of years in prison for doing it.

Nice young man who made a serious mistake.
