I been in payment processing for 10 years, mostly helping peptide merchants get paid without problems. But honestly, things keep getting worse. Banks and big processors shutting down accounts left and right, even for businesses that been running for years.
Chargebacks, random holds, accounts getting frozen for no reason it’s like they don’t want high-risk merchants anymore.

Now I see more people using crypto, offshore processors, and other new ways to take payments. So I wonder ¦ Are normal payment gateways dying for high-risk businesses?

Feels like if you don’t have a backup plan, one day you wake up and your payment system is gone.

I just join BHW and wanna hear from others in the same space. What’s working for you guys? Let’s talk!

Unfortunately they are becoming more and more strict, there are too many scammers, fake ecommerces and bad actors luring people
In the end honest sellers are also strongly affected

Yes, for sure. I have many ecommece sites and I always have 2 processors now on hand in case of these issues so I can switch in an instant.

I wanna know more about what business is you’ve got. I’m passionate with different solutions

Multiple, in some very different niches.

I also own a retail business in a very highly regulated market, however this is up for sale at the moment as I'm looking to get out of it.

Yeah man, it’s gettin worse every year. Scammers ruin it for everyone, then the legit sellers get hit with all the restrictions.

Sucks when you’re doin everything right but still treated like a risk. Feels like the banks and processors just wanna make it harder for small biz to survive.

That’s interesting, man. Having multiple businesses in different niches must keep things exciting (and probably a headache sometimes lol).

When you say highly regulated market do you mean something like supplements, finance, or something else?

Curious what made you decide to sell too much red tape, or just ready for something new?

Can be a headache, but I've always had the go get to get the business running then to delegate to others when running smoothly.

It's a restricted business, too much red tape. Becoming more of a hassle to own.

It's owned with another 3 people but I own 80% of it. Just looking to get out, started it back in 2019.

First year turnover was £650k second year we hit £900k, covid was really good for us, triple turnover. But... the red tape costs more each year, profit is minimal for what it turnover, it's like 8.5% profit. Thereabouts.

Got to point of more hassle then it's worth.

Basically I'm using my exit plan out of it.

My niche is actually banned from processing cards. I process cards everyday. Really don’t care what the climate is with the banks, personally. Put your black hat back on
Haha, respect. Gotta do what you gotta do to keep things moving, right? Banks make it damn near impossible for some industries to operate legally, so people gotta find workarounds.

Curious tho do you focus on domestic processing, or are you working with offshore solutions?

Always interested in how others navigate this space.

Yeah, sounds like it was a solid ride while it lasted, but I get why you’re ready to move on. Sometimes the hassle just outweighs the reward.

I use ALL the big payment gateways. As long as it’s not a small business easy enough to slide by. I don’t use offshore. That’s too expensive.

Unless it’s square. They are very strict and will place orders to verify.

I want to know how you hep merchants process payments, are you an ISO or you’re an agent? Is it only peptide industry you serve or you serve other high risk industries?

Payment platforms like Payoneer, Skrill, and **InstInstabill that specialize in handling high-risk industries have relatively high fees but provide more flexibility.
The use of stablecoins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether is becoming more and more common, especially because they can reduce the risk of reverse charges and provide decentralized payment solutions.
Some high-risk merchants use other non-traditional gateways such as NMI and **AuAuthorize.Net, but be aware that they may also be restricted.

Looks like this reply was AI-generated.
1. Misclassifies Bitcoin and Ethereum as "stablecoins" (they're volatile cryptocurrencies)
2. Has weird formatting errors with doubled word prefixes ("**InstInstabill" and "**AuAuthorize.Net")
3. Reads like generic, surface-level information without insider knowledge

Just a heads-up before anyone takes this advice too seriously.
