Payment Processing Getting Worse? My 10-Year Experience with Peptide Merchants

I been in payment processing for 10 years, mostly helping peptide merchants get paid without problems. But honestly, things keep getting worse. Banks and big processors shutting down accounts left and right, even for businesses that been running for years.
Chargebacks, random holds, accounts getting frozen for no reason it’s like they don’t want high-risk merchants anymore.

Now I see more people using crypto, offshore processors, and other new ways to take payments. So I wonder ¦ Are normal payment gateways dying for high-risk businesses?

Feels like if you don’t have a backup plan, one day you wake up and your payment system is gone.

Yes, for sure. I have many ecommece sites and I always have 2 processors now on hand in case of these issues so I can switch in an instant.

Yeah man, it’s gettin worse every year. Scammers ruin it for everyone, then the legit sellers get hit with all the restrictions.

Sucks when you’re doin everything right but still treated like a risk. Feels like the banks and processors just wanna make it harder for small biz to survive.

Can be a headache, but I've always had the go get to get the business running then to delegate to others when running smoothly.

It's a restricted business, too much red tape. Becoming more of a hassle to own.

It's owned with another 3 people but I own 80% of it. Just looking to get out, started it back in 2019.

First year turnover was £650k second year we hit £900k, covid was really good for us, triple turnover. But... the red tape costs more each year, profit is minimal for what it turnover, it's like 8.5% profit. Thereabouts.

Got to point of more hassle then it's worth.

Basically I'm using my exit plan out of it.

Haha, respect. Gotta do what you gotta do to keep things moving, right? Banks make it damn near impossible for some industries to operate legally, so people gotta find workarounds.

I use ALL the big payment gateways. As long as it’s not a small business easy enough to slide by. I don’t use offshore. That’s too expensive.

Unless it’s square. They are very strict and will place orders to verify.

I want to know how you hep merchants process payments, are you an ISO or you’re an agent? Is it only peptide industry you serve or you serve other high risk industries?
