Anyone confirm whether this update effects all googles or just .com? If just .com do you think it will soon be rolled out everywhere?
My main site still ok on .com.au but wiped out completely on .com.
search quality totally getting screwed
First, Its too early to conclude this, Lets wait for some time.
However, If this mess remains same, one thing is sure. Google has given "no penalty badge" for web 2.0, amazon and other such sites. I feel this because these kind of sites are the one's having the most spammy backlinks ever and still ranks on top.It makes sense because google for sure knows now that these sites are actually used for link schemes like pyramids by the Blackhatters, so web 2.0 are obviously treated special by the bots.

Non-consistant BL (100 BL in one month and zero the next month) may be a factor of penalties with this new update. To be confirmed...
My two best performing sites have been smashed as of 5 hrs ago. Im in Australia. Are there any other ANZAC'S that have been smashed over the last couple of hours/day.
"LEST WE FORGET"
I am personally going to focus on other IM projects, where SEO plays no role at all. That's the best thing we can do I believe meanwhile, to see how things settle - if they settle, and where to go. Good luck all!

did you forget where you are?Hurrah! badbone to spammers...
I stopped relying on any organic Google traffic for my sites after the first iteration of Panda a year ago, except for 2 lily-white eCommerce sites.
These 2 sites have never had an inorganic backlink built to them (unless you want to count press releases as 'inorganic').
Both were ranked for well over 100 keywords; top 3 for most.
They are now wiped off the face of the Internet.
I'm not trying to incite panic, but if you think you're safe, I assure you you're not.
