Wondering if anyone here has had any experience outsourcing their SEO to companies like boostability, or even fiverr? We have a home improvement business with competitors who don't have a great authority score in the area. We don't really have the time to do all the SEO ourselves and learn everything, so were looking to outsource it to a trustable source with tons of testimonies, like a big company such as WebFX. We are a small business though so WebFX would have too large of a budget for us, but does anyone have any pointers?

I bet, in Fiverr, you cannot rely on the reviews. Reviews can be purchased and are purchased.
I suggest your company hires an in-house SEO specialist.

Hey, i can help you with it, i have 10 years of experience in the field of SEO!
You cannot offer services here yet.

You can hire a freelancer on BHW if you want to outsource it.
Don't blindly rely on reviews from Fiverr, as it can be bought

There will alternatives to webfx. You just have to search for it.

Outsourcing to Fiverr is kind of a crapshoot considering the fact that AI has caused a lot of chaos when it comes to the SEO space.

If you're thinking of hiring a specific company for SEO, you need to run several tests.

Make sure that they rank for their target keywords.

Make sure that they guarantee their work.

If they can't guarantee results, you have no business doing business with them.

That's the bottom line.

A lot of the old deliverables of backlinks don't apply anymore because of AI.

You should ask for real, hard guarantees like:

"Here are my target keywords, and here is the expected traffic that I'm supposed to get from them if I rank #1.

What can you do for me?

What can you guarantee?

Do I get my money back?

How much of my money back do I get?"

Remember, you are taking a risk when you hire a company that is supposed to improve your business in the space of 6 months.

What if nothing happens in 6 months?

You lost those 6 months.

You lost the money that you could have made in those 6 months.

Do you understand me?

Do you get where I'm coming from?

This is how you should be thinking when sizing up SEO companies.

There are tons of SEO companies.

Anybody can come up with an SEO company.

But at the end of the day, the ones who can deliver results that stick for the long term are few and far between.

Choose carefully.

Don't fall for the hype.

when it comes to freelance SEO, as a marketplace, Upwork is more valuable than Fiverr. But I would suggest you hire an in-house SEO. It would be the best solution.

Hey ddv,
Look for small, reputable SEO agencies or freelancers with proven results in local SEO for home services—check reviews, case studies, and always avoid cheap, spammy gigs.

I’ve tried Fiverr SEO services before—results can vary a lot, so be careful to check reviews and ask for samples. For small businesses, sometimes local freelancers or smaller agencies can offer more personalized work within budget.
