Hi,
relating this one to my other thread:
http://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/electronic-music-blog-my-journey-to-100-000-monthly-visitors.861562/
I started a music blog about a year ago but just recently dived into the topic of Youtube (I know I should've done that earlier). I want to grow the channel organically. So far I upload music that lesser known artists submit to our blog. The videos are branded with a logo, animated wave curve and info about the song along with a background image (similar to Majestic Casual, Trap Nation etc.).
So far I've uploaded 20 videos and there's about 5-10 more every week now. The channel has about 200 subscribers of which about 180 are fake.
I don't make a blog post for every video on Youtube but post most of the videos to certain genre-speficic subreddits on Reddit and our Twitter account with about 2000 followers. Other than that I use the Youtube channel to comment on other music with similar genres to generate more visibility.
With this I currently generate about 80-120 views per day.
What other techniques are there to grow a music channel on youtube. How can you generate 1K, 10K, 100K Views per day and how long does this take?
Does rapid following/ unfollowing make sense, Facebook groups (I personally consider them spammy most of the time) or other?
Really appreciating your feedback.
Anthony
