Noob Journey - WP Adsense Niche Adventure

Hey BHW,

here comes my short story:

Last year I joined BHW initially to find ways to promote my music better,
but soon got immersed and hooked up on IM.
Why not do something worthwhile I thought.
When people ask what I do for a living, I can say spammer.... That sounds better.

My tools are:

Market Samurai
Scrapebox
SpinChimp (good to manually rewrite)
Easy WP Seo

AMR: tested it, but I feel to use SB to its full extent first, for now.

I have started 3 exact keyword domain niche projects. A, B and C so far.
Daily SEOTs:


A 250
B 559
C 820

The competition is fairly low profile on all of them.

For now, I focus the SEO on site A to experiment with how my efforts work out in SERPs.
Later when I have more experience I move on to the higher SOET projects.

I made a page in WP containing 5 sub pages with LSI related longtail keywords and content. Each page has only around 330 words though...
I wrote the text myself by summarizing other work out of my head.
One box of Adsense was placed from the start.

when I put the site up on 26 of January it went straight to PAGE ONE in Google SERPs ranking at 10. Even without any backlinks.

Then I got Scrapebox and did a few high PR edu manual comments.
some of them actually showed up in Majestic SEO after 2 weeks.

Next I wrote a nice 660 word article and posted it via AMR which I tested.
It got accepted an published at least 30 times.

I made an RSS feed and PINGed those links to get them indexed.
The funny thing is: non of the AMR article links show up in Majestic SEO.

Its 3 weeks ago now and I pinged like 3 times on different days.
They have not been indexed at all...

The Facebook page I did for it also doesn't seem to connect with my page, no backlink from this...

My current Backlink status is:

Referring Domains: 4
External Backlinks: 1454

in MS it shows like this:
RDD:2 , RDP:2 , BLP:676 , BLD:1454


I wonder:

How did I get so many backlinks from so few Domains? I don't get this yet. I posted manually...
I hope it doesn't look like spam for the panda...

since 3 weeks my page is stuck on the second page of Google on 13.

So the backlinks didn't help yet, but also didn't sandbox me either.
when will it kick in I ask myself?
O.K. up until this week there was one sub page with slight dupe content (24 percent).
I scraped some content for this and spun it not very well.
But I fixed that and Copescape is fine with it now.
Maybe that was the reason G didn't let me on the first page anymore...
I guess I have to wait for the next deep crawl...

What should I do next?

Replace the content with 1000 word articles?
The 330 words got me on the first page, maybe just more quality backlinks....

My site looks like a blog, because of WP and It gets some spam, too but I dont approve...

Should I actually approve to make it look organic and alive?

It's not really a blog but more a "how to" site.

I guess I keep posting manual comments, right ? I'm happy to do 10 a day...

OK I forgot: MY TARGET

The site is apple hardware related and the click pays out around 1$.

My plan is to get this page to No. 1 within the next 6 months and generate 150$ per month.

18200 searches
7500 visitors for the No. 1 Page
CTR 2 percent
1$ per click
=150$



after that works I will do the same with the other two sites...
hopefully it will give me 1000$ per month

I'm wondering if there would be a difference between creating posts vs pages on your WP site?

I would hazard a guess that allowing spammy comments would devalue your site.

Oh btw how are you checking your SERP ranking?

I use Rank Tracker in Market Samurai to check the SERPs.
Also I verify manually in Google... (12th today)


Also I wonder about posts vs. pages.

The first thing I did in WP was the main article for the keyword. It appears as "post" and can be found twice: 1. as the hompage, but 2. also under the hompage/keyword address. It doesent appear as "page" though. The other sub pages are all "pages"... hopefully this isn't dupe content I produced there ... I guess I have to get into WP more...

Its looking good. i would saw try to look for other niches but thats just me

I have read that posts can easily be duplicate content, based on whether you use archives or catagories, your theme, and also your plugins.

A post seems to reside as a single stand-alone page.

It might pay to look into this a bit further.

Oh no, what happend? 56. today!

I have been between 12 and 15 for 4 weeks

All I did yesterday, was to fill some tabs in the Heatmap Theme Meta Descriptions and Meta Keywords.


I also had the All in one SEO Pack installed already. The title and description tabs were filled too from before, but with different text. I wonder if theese clash (heatmap tabs vs. [COLOR=deepskyblue"]all in one SEO Pack[/COLOR] tabs).

I took the Heatmap tags all out for now, let's see if it's coming back up... the site did well without those anyway...

Appart from that 10 more backlinks got indexed, but I don't know which ones they are? Cant seem to pin them down...

google is dancing may be... that happens to lot of people before they hit back to higher ranks
