Non-optimized website at #1 in SERPs?

Hi Guys,

A competitor website was not optimized and also it has poor page speed but still the homepage of the competitor website is in the 1st position. The homepage URL was ranked for almost all the keywords. No other URL is shown for keywords.

How is it possible? Is there any technique to stay in #1 position for non-optimized websites?

Low competition maybe? If not, I dont know at all.

That is definitely not true, a site with garbage content can rank easily with some pbn links for low comp.

I'll give you a little hint: PBN are "magic sauce" if u know what u are doing.

Maybe the website it`s old and google give him trust. I see websites loading in 8 seconds with rubbish non-responsive design rank for medium keywords.

Check their Authority, If high authority site, it's natural.

Otherwise they are using High quality PBNs. Take a deep drive your self or Consult Gurus or do competitor SEO Audit.

he/she probably using long content, internal linking, expired domain with PBN.

Eh. Does I told on page SEO is a magic sauce? You dont understand what Im trying to do? I saw lot of newbies thought PBN will rank anything and miserably fail.
You need to combine On Page and Off Page. Thats not new

On page SEO isnt only content .. Its a hell lot of optimization, but in any case, read what I post above. But yes, I understand what you means, with very good pbn you can do some beautiful things, but its better to do it perfectly !

It's a guess and I'd say a pretty good one, just trying to help someone out who doesn't know as much about PBNs. Do you have a better idea or u just complaining?

That's not true at all. Topical relevance, relevant traffic, virality, etc and 100 other parameters decide how you rank.
