Google Sandbox!! It could take anywhere from 3 months to 9 months.
Patience is a virtue, and while you're at it, spend your time writing more awesome content.. You'll pat yourself on the back in 6 months.
Focus on good content, before worrying about purchasing any links. (Yes, I am an SEO provider, so take my word on this)
