Newbie keyword Seo question...

I'm really new to SEO.

I have a ecommerce general store similar to amazon (obviously not as popular) What would be the best keywords to provide for SEO? I sell tons of different products (electronics, clothing, kitchen suplies)

So in other words what would be the top keywords for such website? There is only a limited of keywords i can provide..

Don't you think you end up with competing with big boys? general niches in e-commerce sites really suck, go with small niches like selling dog stuff etc.

If you still want to go for it, Go with paid traffic.

My prices are the best and beat everyone else's. For example if everyone else sells ps4 slim for $299 I sell it for $279. I just need people to know about the website.

Then launch an affiliate program if possible, if not go with FB ads and other ad networks. Bribe blogger in niches to post deals of your site and offer them money or %.

Thanks. But I'm talking specifically about ranking on google for specific keywords.

For example if I have the best price for "Optimum Nutrition gold protein powder", would it be a good idea to target that specific niche and try to get my site in front of google for it even though that's ALL I'm selling?

I'm planning to hire a freelancer to do the job for me.

I APPLAUD you for sounding dumb -- yes it is pretty dumb. You've got to do your own keyword research, lad!

No one's going to tell you this. It will take a lot of testing. As others have mentioned you must find a niche/keyword that is not dominated by the 'big boys'.

use small niche keywords for your products which are easier to rank

Don't go for high volume keywords. Better to rank LSI keywords and do paid traffic and social media promotion.
