New shopify store need advise

So this is my first time posting on this forum so I hope I do it right haha.
So basically I have created a Shopify store, and I think I have an okey product to market but my page is not the best I think (it's a simple site).
So what I have done is that I looked around facebook and I saw a product that seem to sell have "copied" his selling page with the gifs and description and im planing on running the same ad as he did.
So my question is if i run this ad on facebook with a 5 dollar budget and ill test with 10 diffrent adsets and 10 diffrent interests wait a day or two and then kill the ads that don't preform. Will that work? Is it a big chance that ill get sales even if i dont have a super good web page?

I mean I dont think its ugly its just simple I guess. And because of an already "winning" product you dont think it will work?

You should give it a shoot to test

A good looking and user friendly website will definitely convert better than a simple generic site.

There are plenty of nice themes on Shopify you can use and get started even for free. Then from there it's all about A/B testing and optimizing over time, you won't find a silver bullet.

u can get some sales but it is better to have a good simple looking site
give it a test but i suggest u to give the test for every adset 3 days to allow facebook to collect data

Would you buy from your site ?

from my experience your website doesn't matter a whole lot just make it look clean legit not like a scam website like most drop shipping sites. The only thing that truly matter in my opinion is sales, sales, and more sales everyone is all worried about "oh maybe in I change my interest tab I'll get more sales" instead of worrying about the thing that will actually bring in sales (marketing). My advice to you is read some books on copy writing, marketing and human psychology and you'll be far better off then taking fb ads course like everyone else, not saying fb ads aren't important skill to learn but it seems like no one worries about the thing thats actually gonna generate sales and build a legitimate brand. Install turbo ad finder extension and look at the copy on 80% of ads, its embarrassing, with a decent understanding of marketing you can blow most leaders in your niche out of the water imo.
