New Google Update - Where the Hell is Everyone's Professionalism?

Why hold it all in like some peaky lil girl not wanting to lose her virginity but secretly craving a fuck!
Amen brother, amen. If there's one thing I've learned in life it's that the innocent ones are the ones who crave it the most. Before I discovered this fact, I lost a lot of poon :(

So let out your frustrations, keep working hard sure, but come to BLACK HAT world to scream and yell as much as you want for the BLACK HAT people who are trying to make the lives of their dreams, doing battle with Google and Matt Cunts every day. This forum is starting to sound worryingly like WF or DP.

I think I'm going to puke. Next you're going to tell me "natural" link-building and Big Foot actually exists.

I've been playing the game since 1995 and SEO is like the sand - it shifts every time the wind blows. For someone to come into BHW and sound like a Google shill is sickening. We can get this nonsense on plenty of other forums. If you think for a second Google can't be fooled you're dead wrong. I don't subscribe to shit Google says and I've been a long time member of Google's WM forum. I pop up there once a month or so to see what I missed and hear the same old BS attacks on poor webmasters by pompous K-I-As that couldn't rank a top site if their life depended on it.

People that know me know I have all the tools. I'm seriously invested in SEO with more resources than anyone I know playing the game. I've not stopped playing the game for a second but I know BS when I see it. I know when my MFA's that have been sitting around doing nothing for 2 years without any SEO suddenly start banking and indexing above my quality sites that something is seriously FU'd.

I have enough lines in the water to weather about any storm but I still sympathize with people just getting in the game that don't have as many lines and get kicked in the dirt through no fault of their own. I don't think I've lost a dime through this whole update but I've got shit sites banking and good sites dropping.

If you're so confident you have a rock solid system then post some of your sites and lets see if they're really untouchable because of your rock solid seo tactics. You and I both know you're a sitting duck if someone wants to take your sites out at the moment.

My sites are climbing faster than they have in years (the one's that took a hit last week) but not because of any SEO work on those websites. I'm just clearing the brush on the road to #1 as Google has opened the door and said have at it boys. Now that's good SEO; seeing what works and not listening to the BS by wannabe SEO K-I-As. Follow your sound SEO tactics and you'll find your dick in the sand one of these days.

JMHO

You obviously misunderstood what I'm saying. I never subscribe to anything Google says either. The only time I make adjustments to anything is if I have my own data to back up what they are saying. Part of good SEO is understanding that it is fluid in nature. That's beginner stuff.

The point is that those chronic complainers about Google updates don't understand the nature of SEO, how it changes, and how to adapt their business to it.

Of course there are weird fluctuations in rankings happening right now. This always happens with any update Google does.

I'm not a Google "shill" whatever that is, but I understand the nature of SEO and the games Google plays with it. That is why I also don't see loss during updates.

I never promoted a "rock-solid" system, and I never will because again, SEO is always changing.

I have already seen some people trying to use negative SEO on some of my sites, but so far, they have not been effective, so we'll see how that plays out.

Without doubt I am exactly what the OP has complained about. I swore about Matt Cu'ts and I bitched and whined like a 7 year old yesterday and the day before... Today I remember I'm near on 50 years old and I sat down and made some adjustments. Yes I'm confused, bitter, scared and thoroughly fucked off. Do I regret calling Matt a cunt or being totally abusive. Hell no..!! and I'd do it again tomorrow. But I feel better now for having vented my frustrations. That's part of the game, part of being in a forum where folk can say what the fuck they want within reason. Why hold it all in like some peaky lil girl not wanting to lose her virginity but secretly craving a fuck!

I don't really care about google. I do care that that the world is tough and I'm running out of time to make something of myself. I care that my estranged kids won't contact me because I'm the daddy with bugger all money. I do care that owe more than I can anticipate earning in the next 50 years if I could live that long, which I wouldn't fucking want. So yea.... I let rip far more than I should have and I enjoyed letting out that much steam because it made feel as relieved as any constipated git would feel after a 10 day bout of shitlessness. So perhaps, stating that fuckers like me shouldn't be voicing our opinions should be saved for somewhere a little more upmarket and posh... maybe a place where superstars meet up for a cuppa tea...

I like your style. Shoot from the hip - get the shit off your chest and move on! We share many similarities so maybe that is why I can relate. 51 in another month, 2 estranged kids, on and on. Get out there and give them hell!

I also like your way of thinking kvmcable, "SEO is like the sand - it shifts every time the wind blows" - people bullshit all the time about how much experience they have but your claim of being in it since 95, I am more inclined to believe you than not, given statements like that. I've been in it a relatively very short time compared to you, and this fact is already very apparent.

Alright, I'll be in the minority on this one... but the main problem everyone that gets hit is only a single one: "betting on one horse"...

thats my problem now - I've spent the last year building subniche sites within my niche, and they got hit. My main pretty much site avoided it all, it even improved in a couple of big keywords

So while my income hasn't taken much of a hit, if any - my expansion plans of owning half of each targeted page #1 have been put back a year. And now I'm back to betting on that one horse again.

Google is making it clear that they will only give love to the ones that truly understand and implement quality SEO practices, and this opens up A LOT of opportunities if you are one of those people.
Hahaha, you sound like Matt Cutts. No... just no. * shakes head *

After this thread was started, I would read the latest post and click the home button, as I did this I began to notice that every time I clicked the home button one of the BST threads that began in 2010 and even 2011 were at the top of the menu because someone posted something new in them. Why is that relative to this thread? Well, here is a thought. Most of the users doing a majority of the bitching about google's latest algo update are probably among those that keep the old BST threads alive.

This means you may be continuing to use outdated linking methods that have not worked for a while. Google has ran a few major updates in the last year and yet users continue to keep these BST threads from 2010 alive. Most of these methods, not all mind you, but most of them DO NOT work anymore. Stop using them. That is not what I would call adjusting to the search engine updates. Insanity is doing the same things, over and over again, while expecting different results.

Just something I thought of and thought I would share it.
