If you want to drive traffic to your blog, include social sharing tools on it. Do proper on page seo and share it on social media.

Do u see all your indexed pages have the same snippet?
I think it is because you've set a fixed meta description for all your pages. It is not search engine friendly for your site - as different pages of your site actually tells about different things - better either let the search engine put its own snippet or you write different meta descriptions for all the pages that have different contents.
