Yes.
I have read and knew this about other providers, but Namecheap being my go to, i have learned the hard way. may be time to find a smaller provider from the suggestions this thread brings,like the suggestion below
I will most certainly use the less well known and smaller providers, will try instantdomainsearch.com. thanks for suggestion.

If you mean on their side, I believe it is automated process, and that is the reason we are opting for smaller companies rather than the big ones who can automate this.
if you have read this thread there is already other smaller alternatives suggested by other members.
That is why i was surprised to be honest, I knew this existed in some other hated companies btw, but Namecheap was my go to for domains and even testing sites that i would create, since their hosting is cheap. but learned the hard way that it is the norm in all of the "Big" ones these days.
