I just started a entertainment website. The website is mostly music, videos, news etc. I have hired an Seo company to start working on the on and off page optimization to which I got my first report yesterday.

However I am looking for Adsense safe ways to help jump start the site. I was considering running Ads on similar sites, ppc maybe... Just looking for some ideas before I invest my money and time. Thanks

You should consider using Twitter to fire people towards your site.

Thanks, I have considered twitter, but the more I read on this forum it indicates that twitter isnt quality traffic. Alot of bots and such, I bought a couple accounts and I even have tweet attacks and use that. It helps just looking into other methods. Thanks:)

Drive youtube traffic with a video or two.

As your website is about music, videos, news, go on Facebook and look for related Fan pages (about a music band, film, celebrity) and post a link to your website posts on the wall.
Idem on YouTube (...).

This may bring some traffic to start.
Good luck.

People are going to hate me for this...
I am a traffic dealer....
and...
but if you have a music website...

myspace is the place to go....

Trust me on that one.

Thanks for the tip. The only thing I would be concerned about is my links looking spammy. I spent a great deal of time with the website so I am a lil over protective. Do you know of certain thresholds that would be acceptable?

Thats very interesting, please elaborate more in detail. I thought myspace was dead but I am more than willing to take another look at it. Do you have a method or process that your willing to share. Thanks
