need suggestion about hosting problem

i have one wpsite , i like the site very much so what i do i buy new domain and download the all file from my existing domain and upload the same file to new domain.
now what happen when i open my new domain its redirected to my old domain . i know i need to any more ..
can i any one please tell me what i need to do step my step.

what i learn i need to change database and path. i did not know how to do that.
i am use ding go daddy hosting .
old domain at namechep
and new domain at godaddy.

please let know now.
