I am looking for a cheap shared hosting account. Which will allow remote MSSQL database connection from remote host as I would host website on one server and database on another server.

Yes, you can try asphostportal. I have good experience with them to host my asp.net site. If I have clients, I also recommend them. Price seems bit higher but they have good server specification that make your site more stable and more reliable.
