Need help with this idea

I am 19 years old and i study Business Analytics in Madrid, earlier i got this i idea. What if i built a chatbot for my universities app? Recently i've been seeing many posts about chatbots and i thought i could implement this. A bot that gives you a list of your pending tasks, frequently asked questions, setting reminders and sending push notifications, asking in what classes you need to go more because of attendance matters, what classes you need to pay more attention in to get better grades based on your grades, ect. Obviously i know this isn't simple and it will be harder for me because i have no previous knowledge, its my first year and i haven't learned much yet. I see this as an opportunity to learn but also i would like a monetary benefit. I know this takes talking to the university previously because i need access to their databases and whatnot, but first i need to know if this is possible? can i get any benefit out of it and if i can how so? If someone thinks its a good idea and maybe respond and help me out a little because i was really excited when i thought of this.

Glad to hear your excitement! This is how it starts... with an idea! I say go for your dreams, just dont share too much details here publicly. If you hit a roadblock trying to get permissions from a huge establishment, just start a new twist on the project that needs no permission from them. Dont spend too much money without contract or written permissions first. Good luck!

Made me happy see someone reply, gives me some good reassurance it isn't such a bad idea. Ill start by drawing out all the features i think the chatbot should have detailed and ill try to do a prototype for the university so they could use it and ask questions.

Glad to hear it, you seem real intelligent. You are young, so this is just the beginning of your ideas, don't worry, but don't delay! When you have the drive, chase it and don't let it get away. Keep a job to pay for the experiments until you make it big, we are here for you!

Yes, no matter what, you should consider two issues.
If it is just for the dream and for charity, then the best way is to tell more people around you about your idea. With more people involved, it will be faster.
If you want to earn money through this, it is best to think clearly about who will be willing to pay for it.
After thinking it through, do it boldly.
