Need Help With High KW Difficulty Website.

Me and partner just launched a tech website. My partner is for technical stuff and I'm handeling all marketing department as well as SEO too. I've ranked low KW difficulty websites but this website has huge competetion. Need some help and suggestions. Some of our competitors are:

Competitor 1: UR: 27 DR: 47 Backlinks: 17.3K Referring Domains: 1.33K
Competitor 2: UR: 56 DR: 60 Backlinks: 24.4K Referring Domains: 1.39K
Competitor 3: UR: 56 DR: 67 Backlinks: 54k Referring Domains: 2.59k
Competitor 4: UR: 42 DR: 64 Backlinks: 141k Referring Domains: 4.21k
Competitor 5: UR: 40 DR: 60 Backlinks: 281K Referring Domains: 1.47K
Competitor 6: UR: 83 DR: 80 Backlinks: 1.67M Referring Domains: 14.6K
Competitor 7: UR: 79 DR: 83 Backlinks: 422K Referring Domains: 2.3K
Competitor 8: UR: 82 DR: 83 Backlinks: 2.43M Referring Domains: 14.8K


I would like to know the off-site action plan for my website. I know I have to buy hundreds of guest posts for this. But what else I can do to rank this website in 6-7 months. With white hat techniques.

Wow, impressive list. Hundreds of guest posts and quality link building in this amount won't be cheap...
As for the other techniques, I recommend you to check out Magicserp. Their organic traffic service is pretty cool, I use it multiple times in similar cases.
 
You have a quality competitors.
The best option is to do blogging regularly.
Also you can get backlinks(quality) from highly authoritative metrics and tiering it can help you gain traffic

You don't necessarily have to limit yourselves to guest posts. Depending on the niche, there may be many other techniques you could use. Here's a few:
  • Unique data or original research. Often boring industries can attract links if they have data that no-one else has.
  • Broken link building.
  • Skyscraper technique.
  • Competitor research. What kind of links do your competitors attract, that you can either replicate or do better?
  • Digital PR. Can you create newsworthy angles in your industry?
 
With white hat techniques, it's almost impossible to get anywhere within 6-7 months. Even if you have good quality content.

I'm ready to spend money but don't want to hire someone like an agency, I don't trust them.

I've already marked skyscraper and competitive research in todo list thanks for input. Like the idea.

I like your press release thread. But before buying I would like to go through each website myself. I don't want backlinks from shady websites.

To be honest then PR's wont help you to rank here not one bit.

As I said I'm not going to buy any link without going through the website myself. If you can show me website and these are good websites. I'll just buy them.
 
What I'd do is find a subtopic in the niche and cover that in detail.
Write every possible article on that subtopic and internally link those together. Create a silo.

I can absolutely understand your point. They are not an agency, it's a web based software where you can set up organic traffic campaigns. With that, Google will see that your site is popular and you'll rank higher.
 
Since it's in the tech niche, are you able to create a YouTube channel based on the products with either you or your partner making the videos?
Also, depending on the area of tech you're in, Instagram can be a great help as well. What's the tone of your website? By that, I mean is is somewhat laidback and jovial like LinusTechTips, or is it more serious like Arstechnica? In the past, I've leaned on the more jovial side of things and was able to build quite a decent following on Twitter from it, and subtlety adding links back to my site over time.

In terms of links, you're going to need a high quality network. There are ones touted on here that only seem to be reviewed by newbies and I've always been dubious of them.
I've used the links from @splishsplash in the past and had great success with them, although you do need to have a quality website to be considered for it.

The ranking in 6-7 months is something that couldn't necessarily be guaranteed though for any site, unless it's really low competition.
For the velocity of the links, I wouldn't go all in right away. It's a brand new site and why should a brand new site be getting hundreds of links right away? Not that I'm doubting the quality of your work btw.
Lastly, if I'm building a particularly high competition parasite, or adding a page to one of my sites that contains products that are highly competitive, I like to slowly build DF Reddit links to it. My process for doing it is pretty in depth and not the kind that you'll see on here for $5 a link. This is a process that does take a few months to do, so it's not for everyone.
That's just my preference though on how to go about things, though.

If I were you, I wouldn’t get too hung up on the amount of backlinks and referring domain to your competitors.

Instead, I would focus on just how authoritative and niche-specific their backlinks are.

Just because it looks daunting at first, it doesn’t necessarily mean that you're going to have a tough time overcoming your competitors—especially the one that has 2.43 million referring domains.

I would focus on content that they don't necessarily cover or they cover badly.

You need to distinguish your website first, and reverse-engineer your competitors’ keywords so you can pick their low-hanging fruit.

What I mean by that is you can run their domains through tools like Semrush to find their lower difficulty keywords.

Once you have all this information, create topics around them and build content that is more likely to rank.

The next step is to focus on value when it comes to your link building campaign.

I would steer clear of buying links or using PBNs. Instead, I’d focus on press releases.

Since you're a tech site, I would suggest that you do interviews or you do big data analysis.

These are the kinds of topics online newspapers and media outlets are after.

So, if you give them what they're looking for regarding a hot tech topic like blockchain technology and cryptocurrency, you might get a nice wave of high-quality backlinks from authoritative websites.

Normally, it’s hard to get links from those places.

This might give you the competitive advantage you need to overcome your competitors’ existing backlink profiles.
