Need help in stable ranking

Hey guys,

Need some advice on a ranking issue I’ve been dealing with for a while.

I have a gambling site targeting India that’s around 4 months old. For the past 3 months, I’ve been seeing consistent fluctuations on my main keyword. The page ranks, brings in around 60–100 clicks/day, then suddenly drops or disappears, and after some time it comes back again. This cycle keeps repeating.

A few details:
- Around 10+ supporting articles built for topical coverage
- Basic internal linking in place (can be improved)
- Some backlinks built (mix of ********, not spammy but not super high authority either) and few tech guest posts
- Content is decent and matches intent (informational + guide type)
- CTR seems okay since it does pull clicks when ranking

It feels like Google is testing the page but not fully locking it in.

My confusion is:
- Is this mainly a trust/age issue since the domain is still new?
- Or does this point more toward backlinks quality/quantity?
- Could internal linking or content depth still be holding it back even if it’s already getting clicks?

Would really appreciate if someone who has gone through this phase can share what actually helped stabilize rankings.

Fluctuations are normal for new domains. Focus on improving backlink quality, internal linking, and content depth. With time and consistency, rankings usually stabilize.

Totally normal your site is basically in Google’s “trial period” right now it ranks you, ghosts you, then comes back like nothing happened.

It’s mostly a trust + age thing, but in gambling niche you’ll need stronger backlinks to stop the mood swings.

Also tighten internal links and beef up content a bit give Google fewer reasons to doubt you.

Keep building, and eventually Google will stop playing hot and cold with you.

Looks like a normal testing phase, especially in casino niche with a new domain.

You’re getting clicks so the page has potential, but it still lacks strong authority signals. Add a few high-quality links and improve internal linking, rankings should stabilize over time.

If your rankings are jumping a lot, it is usually because Google is still testing your page. Give it some time and keep improving instead of changing everything at once.
