Hello, I made a wp plugin. The problem we are having currently is we can't encrypt and sell, Wordpress doesn't allow encryption, I am wondering how elementor and other players in the field is making thier way arround?

Please suggest some ways.
We have tried everything we could but there is always a chance of being copied.

Maybe licensing service providers documentation can point you in the right direction.
For example:
- CodeCanyon
- EDD or Easy Digital Downloads

With elementor pro, you have to download the zip from their website. Never checked the code from the plugin so maybe it is encrypted?
The fact that it can and maybe will be copied/hacked is undeniable though.

Reverse Engineering/ Cracking is an undeniable fact. Everything can be pirated no matter how much effort you put in to securing the codes. You can even find the Elementor Pro in the members download section.
If someone is serious about their business, then they'll always purchase a legitimate copy from the official vendor.
In scripts/plugins/apps scenario, most of the people never trust 3rd-party free downloads because of the fear of getting their websites/PC infected.
If your plugin is very useful, then you don't have to worry about getting it pirated.
