Hello everyone,

I've noticed a significant drop in exposure for my website following the Google algorithm update in March. Many keywords have lost their rankings, including those that previously ranked within the top 20. This decline has left me feeling puzzled and anxious, prompting me to seek optimization strategies to restore the website's exposure and rankings.

Specifically, several articles on my website have experienced a sharp decline in rankings post-update, particularly those that had previously performed well. I'm seeking advice on the next steps to take in optimizing these articles and improving the overall exposure of the website.

I understand that this may be a complex issue, but I'm hopeful to receive some guidance and suggestions to take appropriate action in improving the website's situation. If anyone can share optimization directions or lessons learned, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you all!

hard to give any optimization tips when we don't know anything about your site in general, and about your content in particular. Like, for example...

- is your site good (no broken links, no errors, good speed, good silo, etc)?
- is your content AI or manual? And is it well optimized (ALT tags, LSI terms, etc)?
- how many pages do you have, and how fast many are you publishing per day? (although, I have a feeling that this question is not important because if you were penalized for excessive publishing you shouldn't have ranked at all, but you already ranked so this is most likely not the issue. But it might still help us get a clear picture of your situation)
- how's your backlinks situation? Do you have any backlinks? If yes, from how many RDs, and how good are they?

Until you answer these questions we can't really know what's wrong with your site and how to fix it. But, from the screenshot above, it might be the case that your site was penalized by one of google's latest updates, which I think targeted expired domains and AI content. And if that's the case, @bestspinner might be right and you should create original and manual content.

Anyway, help us to help you...

You should drill into your analytics and search console to find the exact point things tanked, and then check what was hit. Specific pages, topics, or types of content sometimes will be affected. Sometimes it's an issue of technical SEO; other times, your flagged issue is content quality or a backlink profile.

So sorry for the delay in responding recently. Here is the answer:

1. Yes, my website is in good condition. Upon inspection, all links are functioning properly, the site speed is good, and the page layout, including category pages, is reasonable.

2. The content is generated by AI, and both ALT tags optimization and LSI terms have been optimized.

3. There are around 130 pages in total, and currently, I aim to publish one article per week.

4. The backlink shows around 20k links on semrush, with the majority being directories and profile types.
