Ok so i bought shared Wordpress hosting from godaddy and a domain from namesilo but when i add the DNS A record from godaddy to namesilo it don’t work. Even after 15 minutes ?

Namesilo for sure, or even better: Porkbun

GoDaddy is like paying 3x the price to wipe your ass with sandpaper instead of silk. "Pay 3x the price for 1/5th of the service!" must be GoDaddys motto.
bruh what are you talking about lool. I already got the go daddy wp hosting its just not letting me connect the domain from namesilo

Sometimes it can take a while for it to propagate over.

If after like 1 hour or 2, I'd recommend getting in touch with support and getting them to look at it. Are you 100% sure you did it right?

It can take up to 48 hours on occasion, but I haven't had to wait that long ever.

What a surprise, they probably do that on purpose to make you pay for GoDaddys own hosting. Have fun, good luck - You'll need it. :D

This is as fun as the time they sent incorrect auth codes for domain transfers. Good marketing, terrible service. (They honestly have some of the best blackhat methods I've ever seen for recurring member-type stuff).

Dude 15 mins and you complain?
Server don't propagate so fast. It can go up to a day.
Talk with the support.

You dont need to touch DNS A record at namesilo.
Only update the nameservers at namesilo as given to you by godaddy.
And yes can tale 24 hours sometines, or 1 mn other times. (godaddy I bet 2 days?)

you get nameserver info and add it to new name sever info .

nothink else .

can take upto 48/hrs

thats weird cos it just said change DNS A record and did not even show NameServers info. Thats why im confused so where can i fidn the NameServers for Godaddy

It can take a while to update, up to 24 hours. Also, quite often you'll find that it takes longer for your own computer to update as your ISP may be cachning DNS records.

You can check for propogation online using this site - https://www.whatsmydns.net/

For example, if your domain is google.com and you changed just the A record, then enter in google.com and leave the record set to A. Then check and see if the correct IP shows up.

If you changed nameservers you can do the same thing but select nameservers and it will show what they are.

For your local connection, if you are running windows, then you can edit your host file to temporarily get access, prior to your DNS updating.

Do this by opening notepad as administrator then opening this file -

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Then add an entry like this -

1.2.3.4 google.com
1.2.3.4 www.google.com

Where 1.2.3.4 is the desired IP address for your website and google.com is your domain name.

Then you'll be able to access the site on the new server as if the DNS records were already propogated.

go back to namesilo, select your domain, at the top you should see an option related to changing nameservers....or search their FAQ...hopefully you did not screw the A record.

This should be your first clue to not use Godaddy at all costs. I would not use Godaddy even if they pay me to use their services.

fuck this hassle im just going to get a refund also any recommendations for a cheap wordpress hosting

This takes way longer then 15 minutes and could also be your local computer caching, do a dns traceroute to confirm it is going to the correct IP
