My Website Journey (Succeeded But Failed)

*My English is not my first language. I apologize if there's so many mistakes*

I would like to share my "failed" journey & Experience, and I would like to share with you all my site earnings and statistics too.

My website was banned and terminated forever by Godaddy 4 month after it's launch, 2017 January to 2017 April "4 months old"
And it was very successful webiste..

My niche was about "Posting cracked full games" and I didn't knew it was very seriously illegal thing, but Before I created the website I was looking for a great niche that will allow me to get thousands of visitors very quickly and very easily, and from the research I did on Google, there's 2 niches that will quickly give you thousands of visitors, even if your website is new, and the niches I'm talking about are Porn And Cracked Games. I choose "Cracked Games niche" .. and I started & created my website "posting cracked full games to download and I was using WordPress.

164 Posts in 4 months this is the results:

According to my WordPress Statistics and SimilarWeb My website within 4 month got exactly 96,000 - 100,000 visits And According to Google Webmaster tools my website was seen 392,000 times on Google And more than 96,000 visits.


I can't show you the exactly visitors because I lost all the data because this story from 2017 and I deleted my website from SimilarWeb and from Google Webmaster tools.

Earnings:

The earnings were very bad, it's a bit weird because all my traffic is coming from USA and Europe.. I tried many AdNetworks like Popads. Net & Adsterra & propellerads.. I get 1000 pagesviews daily but only 250 ad impressions.. I didn't focus on earnings I were focusing on getting "visitors to the website"

The owner of the company he contacted with me several times and he said remove anything that relate to my game name from your site. This is some official message from his company:

He said if you removed my game name from your website then go contact with Godaddy they will forgive you and they will give you another chance, but nevertheless they didn't forgive me. My website was suspended & terminated.

my website was getting bigger every month from 1 month old to 4 month old, and there's also real people commenting in my posts, real engement.. All I see is big numbers going up every month, if the website is alive till today "2019" I will likely get 1,000,000 - 2,000,000 Pageviews every month..

And here my Story ends.

Yeah you could have hosted in certain countries where copyright infringements are not that a big deal. But thanks for the write up. It was an informative read.

I didn't do SEO, As I have mentioned before, this niche will give you visitors without doing any SEO, as long as you post games with their download links and with organized, clean content, you will get huge traffic from Google without any "real effort". You just need to index your posts on Google immediately after sharing it on WordPress.

About the income, I added a donation widget to my site,
4 unsuccessful donations not completed, and one successful donation of $5, And Ads from Popads . Net

I found all this stuff after my site was suspended

can you please share with us some exemples of where to register the domain if we want to work in such niches ? thanks.

it’s fetch as google tool in the search console. As soon as you publish your blog post, the next thing to do is to submit this blog post URL to google using the fetch as google tool. This way google knows that your blog post is the original source of content and your article will not be penalized for SEO.

Did you upload the games directly to your host database or third party upload panles? Also did you just download and upload the game cracked or you did the job by your self?

No, I do not host or upload any games or cracks.

I just copy the download links for a specific game from pcgamez-download. com, and then paste them into my posts, my articles contain only download links and this is not me who upload the games. the download links are available on the internet to all people.
 
Hey, thanks that we could learn from your mistakes, but any ideas how could you monetize it? Because incomes from ads was very low.

Yes, income was very low. Back in those days, I thought the income would be good after getting 10,000 ad impressions a day, With 10,000 net ad impressions per day, I think profits will be over $10 a day.

Also you can use CPA
You can add PayPal donate button
 
Good job with getting visitors and more to your site.
But you definitely should reconsider adding content, a source page to your site next time you want to run stuff like this.

I say add content because then you are giving your own spin on why they should download the games and you also give yourself the additional way of receiving more visits to your site.

Add a source page when you have explained why they should use a crack to share where you got the crack.

But overall you have done basically duplicate content and copyright infringement.

Hopefully you learned some things for future campaigns.

My traffic was fake? How and Why? Could you please explain to me? Do you mean that I used bot or something like that? I didn't use or do anything to get traffic. What I did is just posting articles for games and contain their download links with their cracks
My traffic was clean and real 100% I installed a plugin for statistics in my WordPress admin dashboard.
